No screws included with these armrests. If you are lucky, the screws from the armrests you are replacing will be the same size. Mine were not. Four screws from the hardware store doesn't break the bank. But making a trip to the store is annoying. Would it be too much for the manufacturer to include matching screws?

These pads replaced my older hard plastic arm rests. These new ones have some give, but they are not really soft. They are better than my old ones and my arms do not hurt when resting on them. I definitely needed 4 1/4"20 screws (machine screws). I found that the 3/4" length worked fine with no need for washers. I had to remove the arms and push down on the pads to fit them to the curve of my arm rests for that last screw to go in. Everything is now tight and firm. Look forward to a long use of these.

I have a Temperpedic chair. One of the armrests cracked. I lived with it for over a year with electrical tape holding it together until it basically fell off. Found this set which was one of few that had the longer spacing necessary for my screws. I know some people said the screws needed to be replaced but with my chair my old screws fit perfectly. These arm pads are a little stiffer but not a big deal. Very nice product!

I needed arms with the larger-spaced holes for my chair. These work. One criticism: The screws can't penetrate very deep. Like only 3/16" to 1/4" deep at most before they enter the padding, which is pretty hard stuff. Rather than try to drill through the padding to allow the screws to go deeper (which might not clear the gunk away from the steel threads) I added a few washers to the screws as spacers to make it work. The screws go deep enough to hold it in place quite well, so this is a pretty solid fix with that minor workaround.

Very easy to install. Measurements are accurate to the description of the product, just wish they were a little longer like my originals. The molding of the armrests of what is visible is done very well, the underside is a little lacking but did not affect installation and not noticeable unless you're on the ground. They are relatively firm, and provide only a small amount of give. I would buy again.

Replacement pads fit just fine, but are not as "soft" as the original. The pads that came with the chair are soft, compress-able material. The replacement pads are firm, plastic-like. My is a HON model H7808.H.NT69.T

While item description states that screw holes are 5.5 inches on center the actual measurement was somewhat greater than that. These armrests would not work with my HON office chair that required 5.5 inch on center screw holes. Item was returned.

It seems fine as an arm pad. There is one thing to beware though. This takes ¼ - 20 screws (½ inch long). That screw is quite easily found in any decent hardware store. Actually, I really wanted a screw that was ⅝ inch long with that same thread, but I did not find one of that length. The ½ inch screw was sufficient, though close. A ¾ inch screw would also have worked, with a couple of washers. If you planned on using the screws already on your chair, you will probably be fine, as that is a pretty common thread. Our chair is a Tempurpedic though, and it used ¼ - 28 screws. The thread is just close enough that if you are not careful, you can damage the threads. So CHECK the threads, especially if the screws don't seem to go in easily.
