The hose on my vacuum handle cracked so it couldn’t get a good suction anymore. I’m really glad I found this handle because it saved me from purchasing a new vacuum. I bought the color purple, even though my vacuum is grey, and I’m a satisfied with the appearance. This handle is exactly like the one that originally came on my vacuum. It was so simple to install and the vacuum has been working perfectly since. Definitely a great alternative to getting a new vacuum if the handle/hose is the only thing wrong with your vacuum.

I love my shark navigator lift away ( the purple one). I've owned one for the last 12 years, I am on my second one. I was detailing a truck last week and my hose split and in my home I can't go without a sweeper. I ordered the new hose and had it in 2 days. I took it out of the box and put it right on my sweeper. Easy to put on. It fit perfect. Performed as it should. Quality so far is as expected. Appearance, it's nice and clean and pretty till I sweep a few more times. The flexibility is great when you need to reach those cobwebs on the ceiling.

At first it fit perfectly fine but after a couple of months the spring or something broke and now I can’t even get it off my vacuum cleaner ! I can’t use the extension hose because it’s stuck on my vacuum ! So it’s either just keep using it like that or risk breaking my vacuum trying to get it off ! So take your chances but in my opinion it’s a no go !

Only complaint was I had to wrestle a little bit to make it connect. Was afraid I was going to break it. I don't know how they could make it better, except maybe a note saying: "If you have difficulty connecting the hose; work on the latches one at a time. It takes [X] amount of force for the connector's latches to reach the lock position."As to "Value for money": I suspect they get a good mark-up for machines/parts. But the machines do an excellent job and last a long time. It is a lot cheaper to buy the part than a new Shark. The old hose/handle held up for more than twelve years of routine use before shuffling off this mortal coil. I suspect it would cost more to keep replacing less expensive, less effective machines/parts more often. This is one of the times "You get what you pay for."

Shark vacuums are expensive! Mine is only a couple years old. Was thankful for finding this company for having the parts I needed for a great price! Fits perfectly. Looked like it was new at a fraction of the price. I will be using this company again for more parts as it breaks!

1) Serious issue: There are unsealable gaps where the twist ring piece that allows suction adjustment is. The gaps cause severely reduced suction when the suction reduction holes are close.PHOTOS - this is a cat toy with the metal/bell piece on the bottom, so it isn't as light as a feather. The 1st pics demonstrate where the escaping suction is pulling air. As you can [hopefully] see in the 2nd 2, the suction escaping around the *closed* ring is enough to hold it up by itself. You can also hear the suction pulling air when the ring is closed. The last 2 photos are the only way to prevent the suction from escaping: tape completely encompassing the ring, preventing it from moving altogether. This totally defeats the purpose of controllable suction power. If you have a hardcore carpet and never need to reduce suction then this may work perfectly for you. Unfortunately for others with more delicate or older carpets, like myself, using full suction all the time isn't doable unless you want to pull up/destroy your carpet. (I put back my torn hose that came with it to test whether this always happened and I just hadn't noticed it before, but there was no suction pulling air when the ring was closed, so it's clearly an oversight with this design.)2) Minor issue: The red snap snapped off immediately upon putting the hose on the vacuum. HOWEVER, it's incredibly easy to fix but simply snapping it in place being careful to align the spring to the 2 nubs where it's supposed to go. After doing this it didn't come off again.I ordered a replacement and found the same suction issue so am returning and trying a different product.Positive-ish: when you seal up the ring with tape (I used aluminum HVAC tape - it's all i had) the suction power is pretty top notch, though this is due to the vacuum really.
