Started leaking 1st couple of weeks. After 3 mo this totally went & left me stranded as all the coolant leaked. I trust I will be refunded but left me out of pocket Twice to have it reinstalled.

Fit perfectly. If your having issues with a/c being hot in different zones this could be the fix. After doing some research i found this could be 99% the problem. Took about 30 mins to swap out. Ordered and replaced now my car is blowing cold again! Great buy

this piece is the best. I took my bmw to several specialists because it was heating up in some areas and cooling in others but no one found the problem. I saw a review on youtube of someone who solved it with this piece. It really works, the shop wanted $550 to install it, but I installed the part myself in 30 minutes, nothing special is needed.

Noticed there was a slight coolant leak coming from the driver side of our 2008 X5 4.4i. Didn't do a real thorough inspection so assumed it was the overflow reservoir tank had cracked finally. Left it like that for about 2 years before finally replacing the overflow. Then the heat just stopped blowing a few days after that repair. Blower was functioning, coolant system was bled again, still no heat. Checked heater valve and noticed crud along solenoids which may have been original source of leak rather than overflow tank. Didn't want to spend $100+ for an OEM Heater Valve, so tried this cheapie off Amazon and bought the Allstate Warranty for a couple years at like $6 extra. Install took under 45 minutes, and have heat again for the rest of winter. We'll see how long it holds up. The X5 is a 4th vehicle so gets under 500 miles a month for the last few years.
