Perfect fit and ease of replacement. Instructions are in the box and follow them. One key thing they mention is to turn off water and depressurize the water. This is important as if you do NOT do this, water can spray up into the main control board and give you an error code.

I bought this in a package of three. I checked out the part number with the original and they matched. I then carefully followed the instructions, turning off the water supply, replacing the original filter, turning the water back on and then trying it. No water. I proceeded to hold the water button in for about 5 minutes, thinking perhaps there was air in the filter that needed to be shoved out. No water. Replaced the old filter and immediately had water. Tried the new filter again and held the water button for another 5 minutes. No water. Am returning it with the other two unopened.

At first, I was a bit worried because the filter looks slightly different from the original one that came with my fridge (a Frigidaire model), but it fits perfectly, so no issues there. For the price, this is a total better value than the OEM version, which costs a lot more.The only thing I didn't love is that it's not shaped exactly like the factory one it made me second-guess if it would fit right at first. Also, with aftermarket filters, you always kinda wonder if the actual filter inside is as good as the OEM, but so far, it’s doing the job just fine. Overall, I’d buy it again because the savings are worth it, and it fits
