Previous purchase of similar item (separate review) was very flimsy and had trouble closing off the water properly. This one is tight and shuts water off properly from the shower/bathtub.

Had the Moen faucet in chrome and since we have now gone to matte black shower accessories and found this product cost approx 1/4 the price of a Moen and the replacement installed exactly the same as the name brand, well Moen might have to do some research and not lose more customers. Only time will tell if the quality of this product will live up to the Moen name, but for now it is the clear winner.

Had to buy extra parts to make it some what fit my older Moen standard valve. Ended up sending it back. Wouldn't sit flush against tile shower wall.
