I bought an old 3DS of a friend years ago and casually gamed with a broken joystick (just using the broken plastic nub...) until I got a game I wanted to play in earnest. Found an easy to follow youtube video on how to replace it and this did the trick. :) I think it's a little smaller than the original joystick, but I don't mind at all. I wish it came in better color though lol

Son's 3dsXL needed a new analog joystick button and this one worked great. East to install and works just as well as the original. Definitely recommend.

This item took a while to get here between delays and going missing in my original order, but at long last it arrived and it works perfectly as a replacement. The size difference isn’t really an issue and I’m glad I waited to get this piece. It’s got a soft feel and makes my console look good!

This replacement 3ds joystick cover works just as good as the original. Installing it to the 3ds is a different story, without the right tools and patience , it is very difficult to install this to the 3ds. Overall, it’s a great product.

Sadly my original nub for the 3DS ended up getting damaged somehow so needed to go in and replace this as the other one was having problems.Definitely take time and looking up how to do this but once I was able to find a guide I was able to replace this with no problem and I love the way it looks.

I ordered this for the same reason you're probably looking at this replacement analog stick. But I wanted to match the color of my original black and blue 2ds. Even though the color says it's dark blue it's actually more purple and looks out of place with my handheld. However, it totally works perfectly and other than the color which is subjective, I do recommend buying this.

Perfect fit for my 3ds, has a nice rubber coating on it and fit perfectly. Very soft and built nice.
