The joystick was made of plastic instead of rubber, which I needed as the only thing I needed was the rubber material that covers the joystick.

I tried bringing out my 2DS only to find that the rubber of my joystick was turning into a sticky, crumbly mess. I peeled it off and had a useable but unappealing tiny nub. I purchased this cheap little replacement and it went in easy. Watched a tutorial to figure out how to weasel it out of place and insert the new one. For people saying these are smaller than the original, you'd be correct, but only very slightly, and it looks about the same size as the little nub below the rubber on an original, maybe larger. Hard to say. Anyway, works great, nice and sleek.

Item was overall smaller than original but works fine but the main problem was delivery. The delivery person clearly threw my package over the fence not caring and when person took the picture you can clearly see that the package was not in neither the porch or near the front door when claimed that the package was put on porch or near front door.

Nice custom piece for repairing a broken joystick on the Nintendo 3ds XL. You'll need a 00 Philips head screwdriver to take the 3ds apart. Watch a video online, it's a pretty easy fix.

Works great. Was a little bit of a pain to install. It is much smaller then the original piece tho.
