Due to poor manufacturing this would not fit into my Klein punch down tool. I had to hand file it down to the proper diameter. Once I was able to install it into the tool the retention pin would not hold the tip in place, again due to poor sloppy manufacturing. I had to use a rotory tool with a fine diamond burr to open up and increase the depth of the detent recess so the retaining pin can actually holds this tip in place during use. It works fine now that I have fixed the problems but if you don't want to do what I did it probably won't even fit in your punch down tool either.
