I had assumed that after being in the industry for over 20 years that companies had stopped making crimpers that don't have a flush cut for thru hole connectors. This crimper means that you cannot buy connectors quickly; you have to check before you buy because 99.5% of all connectors sold have holes for the wires to pass thru. Worthless crimpers. You can use these if you have ccb repair flush cuts; they will run you about $100. Also, don't buy unless you want spend hours ensuring that a 3/4 inch of cat6 is perfectly straight so that it slides in the correct guides; you will never know if you have it right until you check, but then the cable is crimped and you have to cut it off and start again. Even worse is when you have to crimp shielded cat6 with them. GARBGE KIT MEANT FOR THE 1980s.

Herramienta de muy buena calidad , estaba harto de crimpadoras chinorris que se oxidaban enseguida o que se dejaban algun hilo por crimpar . Esto ya es otra cosa

After reading several reviews of various tool sets, I concluded this one was the best for me. I have never crimped RJ45 connections in my life. After watching a few youtube videos, I was able to use the tools. They seem to be very well built, making them probably last a lifetime when taken care of. I used all tools except the punchdown tool. All of them were easy to use once I understood each's purpose.

This kit is great! It has everything you need to get the job done and it does at a reasonable price. I got the "Greenlee" version (green instead of orange and with the Greenlee logo instead of Paladin), and that is alright with me. I think it looks a little cooler personally. The bag that comes with it is "alright", but I wist it had a way to separate/organize the tools instead of a single compartment. For many, this will not be an issue.. but I thought I'd mention it. I am an IT guy and have occasion to use these tools frequently. so far they have been great. The blade on the punchdown tool is sharp and comparable to the Fluke I have also. The stripper is able to cut the jacket on my Cat6e just fine without being overzealous. I did not have to adjust the cut depth out of the box, but adjustment is possible. The scissors are my first pair of the kind (normally I use aviation snips to cut the cables on big jobs). So far I am pleased with the ergonomics of the scissors. I was able to cut through a number of cables without much hand fatigue. The crimp tool works well and ratchets (though I wish it had another ratchet notch closer to the "closed" position). All in all, this is a good buy. It is an effective product, at a competitive price, from my favorite online retailer.

The crimper crimps, the scissors cut, the puncher punches, the stripper strips, and the ends... uh... end? Quality stuff all around from Paladin. Price seems fair and it arrived on time. Really like the ratcheting crimper, so much better than some of the cheap stuff I have purchased in the past.

Ordered this kit so I could do the wiring in a new office we were opening up. The quality is great. The scissors have a sort of teeth that keeps the wires from trying to spread apart when you cut them and already have them laid out in the correct order. The strippers and great. It has an adjustment wheel so you can set the depth of the cut just right to keep from cutting in to the internal wires. The crimpers have a really good feel in your hand and the ratcheting action is good and makes a good positive connection to the copper wires. Even the carrying case has a nice feet to it. Not too big that it is cumbersome to take with you, but not too small that your trying to cram your tools in to it. Only wish you could buy the same kit but that would include a line tester.

Very useful tool. Only used the punch tool once but it worked as expected. The crimper tool works great however I have the CAT6 ends that allow you to pull the wires through the ends then trim them and the Crimper tool does not trim these wires. It would be nice if the crimper did trim these wires. The wire strippers work perfect and the scissors are VERY sharp. It would also be nice if they included instructions for this kit, but i noticed with Paladin Tools they NEVER include instructions.

A really nice truly professional quality network cabling tools within a reasonable price. This is a really sweet kit. You can adjust the impact pressure of the punchdown tool from low to high. Awesome grip to the punchdown handle as I use it. The scissors is a great addition to this kit that I never seen before in network kits before, even when I used scissors to snip into cables. The crimpers really work well. The strippers works nice too. These tools works perfectly for me on both Cat6 and Cat5e.I would recommend this kit for Cat5e and Cat6 work. If you are going to do some Cat6 cabling then buy some Cat6 Modular Plugs. But these tools are perfect on working with Cat6 cabling.

The cable stripping tool is the best I've ever used. I've tried many others that end up nick'ing the strands requiring you to start over. This allows you to dial in the depth right for your particular cable's jacket. After that it works every time. The crimp tool and impact tools are good build quality too. I wish the impact tool had a mode to be non-impact, but most don't. Nice set of tools.
