10/10 recommend this problem if this piece has broken off your printer. We were sure we were going to have to get a whole new printer and this little piece solved our problem!!! Came with VERY strong super glue, I HIGHLY recommend wearing gloves because it’s VERY liquidy and I accidentally glued my fingers together with it. 🤣

My printer had the error message “close paper tray” because the back piece broke off. I bought this piece and I’m so glad I didn’t buy another printer because out of all my printers this one is my favorite. HP Envy 5055. This piece saved my printer. I’m able to print again! I tried to use the glue that came with it but it didn’t work. I taped the piece in place and this worked out great. Watch the video if you are unsure how to put the piece on it is very helpful.

I've followed the instructions found in the video included in the product description and can't seem to clear the error message on my HP Envy 5052. The product seems to be correct for my printer since the groove aligns perfectly on the ridge of the printer tray, and I've re-aligned the leg numerous times hoping that it might be slightly off. I've even tried inserting the leg in the housing slot of the printer alone without adhering it to the paper tray and nothing seems to clear the "close paper tray" message on the printer display.
