Someone who knows how to take Canon all-in-one unit apart it's no problem took me 20 minutes, part fits perfectly. Only issue I see is that the spring inside is not strong enough to hold the ADF unit open when lifted up to change toner or when removing single sheet of paper from the scanner. Let's see how it last the original lasted for 15 years before it snapped. Save the environment use your electronics as long as you can.

I broke the originals when the printer scan cover was lifted too high these were exact replacements.

I bought this part to replace the damaged hinge on my over 10 years old MF4450. It's a perfect fit and works like a charm. It took me around 20mins to install following the Youtube instruction.
