la funcion de quicklock, funciona bien, puedo cambiar mi Hi-hat muy rapido, pero hay dos problemas, la tuerca de ajuste negra, no tiene un ajuste perfecto con los hilos del tornillo de la pieza principal, esto hace que cuando se abre y cierra el hi-hat tenga un sonido metalico de golpe. el otro problema para mi, es que no hay proteccion de metal contra metal del platillo con el cluch. Solucione estos dos problemas con un poco de termo-encogible (termofit) colocandolo en el punto exacto donde va a quedar la tuerca negra es su ajuste final.

The best hi hat clutch, hands down. I never worry about keyholing my top hat because there are no threads to maneuver when setting it up. Easy on, easy off.

This was produced by Taye & sold for years for about $13. Remo apparently bought the design & increased the price but still worth it. Super quick, perfect every time.

Both of these improvements are so simple- I hate that I didn't market it. The way this is done is nothing new- both the spring pressure idea and the manner in which the quick release works are common on other non- drum products. As far as the clutch- works great. Smarter than any of the other ways that these problems are dealt with.

These are the one you want, (don't bother with the Gibraltar equivalent). I have 2 of these on the kit (one used for a closed right hand HH), they're consistent, reliable and well-made. A really smart product. For gigs where you have to get off-stage fast, I recommend these as well as the Gibraltar swing-nuts for crashes and rides. Cheers.

The best "quick release" clutch on the market. Ordered this one after returning a differ quick release clutch from another company that did not work at all. This one locks into place. The only issue I have with this is the amount of sound deadening from the large thick felts. I might use another felt/rubber product, but the build quality and actual purpose for this item is great.

This thing is amazing. It's pretty embarrassing when you have to try to play and screw on the bottom nut of a hihat clutch in the middle of a performance. To prevent things like that from happening, I got this clutch 2 years ago and it has never let me down.This thing is awesome.
