I prefer the Sabian XR over Paiste cymbals, the Sabian's are bit more heavier than the Paiste cymbals I also own, I'm sure they have a much beefier sound also. I have also owned Zildjian in the past and are way to heavy. I'll use the Paiste for lighter music such as jazz, and the Sabian'sfor everything else.
