Snake loves it and so do I. Keeps the tank clean and helps maintain the correct humidity. Also has a nice earthy smell to it. Good stuff!

This works well for my potting mix. I use for my Hoya and philodendron. I like that it’s pretty loose so that I don’t have to chip it up or hydrate before using

I use this in my hamster enclosure so I'm not sure if they hold humidity or not. But as another texture for my dwarf, it works great.

I love this product for plants! I use it in my soil mix instead of orchid bark due to the pieces all being the same size and holds moisture better. My plants, especially the anthuriums seem to love it! The chunks hydrate just from the humidity alone and gives them the perfect amount of water.I do have a pet snake and plan to switch her sub out to this due to its ability to hold moisture so which helps keep her humidity up

Great product for reptile substrate. Hold humidity but doesn’t stay saturated and perfect to mix with orchid bark. For the price it’s a pretty small bag so it didn’t fill my 55 gallon tank completely but I was able to mix well with orchid bark and spagna moss and boom perfect substrate. My ballpython moves comfortably around the substrate and is able to burrow and doesn’t agitate her scales or cause scale rot which was something I battled with when using coco core fiber. Highly recommend for a happy reptile that needs loose substrate that hold humidity. Doesn’t work well by it’s self though cause the quantity isn’t there but I recommend when mixing with other items. 😄 I have a very happy snake with perfect sheds !!
