Love that it wasn’t packed down. You don’t get as much as the packed down versions but not having to soak it is definitely a plus. It has lasted me a long time as it comes with a lot so definitely good value for money. It comes in a large bag but it is not resealable so keep that in mind. Once wet it smells like dirt and you can see the coconut fibers. Good quality. The photo I have has sphagnum moss on top so it may appear different.

It’s coconut fiber. Loose and dry. Good for all sorts of things. No smell or anything of of that sort. Holds moisture fine for my plants and reptiles.

I bought this for a ball python. It was better texture than the chips that had previously been in the tank for it.

We use this for bedding in our tortoise enclosure. I purchased quite a bit for when he goes into hibernation. It’s clean. I moisten it first then let it dry out. I like that its a cleaner bedding and lighter than dirt. Have used similar product for two years, this was very nice quality

These are not 10 pound bags. They are approximately 1.5 pounds each. This is very misleading.

Very dry, dusty, and SO many hairs ... doesn't seem to retain moisture very well either / just turned muddy? Plus when I got it I literally was confused thinking it was a shirt or something inside the package- and surprised to open it up to the substrate i ordered . I got this on sale I believe so maybe this is why. i also orderd their reptabark/wood chip stuff and really liked it so ¯_(ツ)_/¯... just my honest review on this specific thing from them tho.
