Gasket is too hard, its difficult to insert in the housing. I have reused the old one.

Easy to install and fixed the intermittent connection issues we were having with the brake lights. I soldered them in and they fit in the sockets perfectly.

Although the issue is was trying to fix persisted due to another electrical issue where only my rear light works when pressing the brake and not when its dark out. So if its your old connector that is burnt out this works as a replacement.

I want to be able to return this order. Hooked up the ground wire and then I tried putting it in the slot and it was bigger than the slot on the tailight unit.

For whatever reason, the original sockets were glued into place, which made them unable to be reused. The mechanic checked into replacement socket available in my area, and after a search came up with some, at a cost of nearly $200 each. This is going in a 2003 mini van so parts are no longer plentiful. I found these and within a week I was back at the mechanics to have them installed, I was told that there was no trouble with the installation, old ones out, new ones in and off I go. Most people probably wouldn't have to have a professional install them, but I am disabled and can no longer do even simple tasks like this. 2 thumbs up to the shipper and the product
