Your cart is empty.The Red Lion RJS-75SS 3/4 HP shallow well jet pump is ideal for the supply of fresh water to rural homes, farms and cabins that have suction lifts down to 25 feet. Designed for aggressive water conditions, it features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel pump casing, a 115/230-volt heavy-duty motor and a factory pre-set 30/50 pressure switch that can produce up to 50Psi with an automatic shut-off. Please note: the pressure gauge port is 1/8-inch NPT and a pressure gauge is not included.

This has been an excellent pump; easily out lasting other cast iron and plastic/ fiberglass pumps I have owned in the past. My water is extremely hard with lots of calcium, and this pump is nearing 5 years old now. I have never gotten more than 3 years out of any other brand of pump. This pump does have one problem I wish the manufacturer would correct. If you need to mount this pump next to a wall as I have done in the picture, and you need to move the pressure switch to the opposite side of the motor, it can be done but it is very difficult, requiring the motor to be disassembled and modified. It probably also voids any warranty doing this

Hooked up to 1" pex system. Proper setup is with 1 way valve on water feed (in). To tee for air tank. I did reduce power to 115. Very easy! Checked all connections. Turned on. Good pressure. Feed is 6000 gallons from tanks. End of water run is 75 feet. No elevation. Quiet, no vibration. Excellent support from company via phone and email.

Pump appears to be working well, but wished the company would consider installing a pressure gauge from factory. Most stores around my area does not stock 1/8" npt pressure gauges. They stock 1/4" gauges. Really need a gauge to see performance.

The pump worked fine when it was installed. A week later, the pump stopped working and was producing a humming sound and would not pump.

Buy (separately) a SHUTOFF pressure regulator and replace the standard regulator provided. The only sure thing to ruin this pump is running out of water and burning it up. There is a regulator which will shut the pump off if the pressure is too low, (meaning dry).
