Easy installation and works great. Be careful to perform leak checks for gas lines.

I purchased this to replace the old Princess electric cooktop on my boat. It’s the only unit I found that was cooktop only, and a direct replacement in terms of dimensions for the 3-burner Princess. As others have noted in their reviews, LP connection for this unit is NOT 5/8 UNF as the description states. It is in fact 3/8 NPT flare fitting (male) on the back. I was able to find the hose to go from 3/8 flare female to 1lb propane tank connector on amzn for 25 bucks or something like that.I did notice, as others have that the glass rests precariously close to the grates such that damage seemed likely in the event of high levels of motion, torsional stress, or vibration (which for us is often). I strategically placed some clear rubber dots on the glass side to remedy this. I’m now confident that it’s secure and won’t crack or shatter.Overall I’m very happy especially for the price.

Works great. Good fit. Easy install. Wish the knobs wouldn't stick out so far. Should ship this with a 120-12v transformer for the LEDs. I bought a set of 2 from Amazon for a few bucks.

Upgraded old RV drove to this one. Nice looking hut a few little things: 1) the LP line inside the unit was crooked between the regulator and the inlet, 2) the instructions don’t mention the 2 little back screws at the back of the unit to undo the top piece (had to figure out myself), 3) the rubber feet on the grill don’t stay on for very long as the rubber nipple piece breaks but you can still use the rubber squares if you glue it to the metal pegs (you’ll see). The power does not need to be installed as it’s for lights only (stove still works without power) which is good. The lights are a nice touch.

Glass shattered a week after installation. I sent seller all the information and pictures that he wanted. I just wanted to get a glass replacement. He never responded after several emails. When he finally responded, he said that he got the email too late and wasn't willing to do anything about it. Horrible service. Stay away from this one.

5 stars for the cooking surface: good burners and solid cast iron grill that will take small diameter vessels like a percolator. Great improvement over the wire grill 4 year old Dometic it replaced.3 stars for the oversized knobs and obnoxious, blinding-in-the-dark LED backlighting that will never be used.1 star for the loud, clanky mechanical starters that become louder and less reliable with time. The unit uses a 12v power source to run the obnoxious lights, why not quiet, reliable electronic starters-that was my expectation.

We revamped our 1987 airstream. Took out the old 4 burner stove and replaced with this unit. It looks great and works great. It freed up so much counter space. We use the space where the oven use to be for storage of pots and pans. Thrilled with our choice.

Once the big RV stove was out, easy to intall this cooktop. You will need to replace the countertop mind you, but for anyone renovating their rig this stove is perfect.

I bought this thinking it would be the same as my last glass stovetop, which was a Furrion brand. This one has a major design flaw in comparison, to the degree that I’m shocked they sell this for RV use. The glass on the stovetop actually *touches* the grates full time without protection. We had to add protective dots so that we can trust it won’t shatter while driving or while putting the glass top down.In comparison on the Furrion, the glass top did not touch when it was laid in place. The grate was low enough in the design and the glass was protected by spacers. This feels like the RV industry took a good product, rebranded it, and then cut corners on it. I would have never paid 279 for this if I knew the quality was so much lower than the last one I purchased. On top of that, the instructions that come with the stove are 100% incorrect. I almost broke the stovetop when following the instructions because it tells you to simply push back and lift on the glass top. I have attached a photo of the screws that hold the top in making this impossible. There are 4. Why wouldn’t they update the instructions after changing the product?!I’m furious and if this was returnable, I would send it back. Now I am stuck with it.

Its like a professional cook top. Really nice, and properly heavy and well built.

Getting a hold of this stove was a little difficult. Amazon was sold out, and when I went to the RecPro website it looked like it was available, but when I tried to purchase it was a no go. I left them a message to notify me when next in stock and I started getting daily emails showing that it was available, but when I would click the link and try to purchase, no luck. I called and spoke to someone who sounded like she was working out of an apartment, and she wasn't very helpful. Just said they didn't have any and they don't know when they would be back in stock. Then, out of sheer luck, I happened to check the website a couple of weeks later and, voila! there it was. I put it in the cart and started to check out (using the 5% discount code they sent me for submitting my email) and the checkout kept failing. I decided to take a quick look at Amazon to see if they had got any in stock, and there they were, 18 left in stock. The price was $20 more but I was tired of screwing around with RecPro's website so I pulled the trigger. The stove arrived pretty quickly and I was really impressed with the quality--it looked and felt much better than I was expecting after seeing the myriad other cheapo two-burner Chinese stovetops on line. The only problem was that installation directions were a bit incomplete. So, after monkeying around trying to accomplish what should have been a fairly simple operation, I had to wait until morning to call "Graystone"--the actual distributors--to solve the problem. The first attempt got me from the automated "receptionist" to a dead mailbox line, and I thought, "oh, oh, looks like . . ." But then I redialed and was forwarded to an actual person who was so extremely helpful that i thought it must have been her first day at work. She kept me on the line while she walked out to their showroom and looked at the specific model I was calling about to work her way through what I was experiencing. She came to exactly the same problem as me and said, "hmm, that's weird. Okay, I'm going to talk to our tech and find out what's going on and I'll give you a call back." Which she did, about 20 minutes later. The *solution was simple--but not included in the instructions, as we both agreed it should have been--and I was off and running. Great hob.*Two screws under the grates toward the back of the unit
