After a few months of normal use, the first burner to the left wouldn't turn off. Within a year, the upper right burner followed suit. I tried to replace the stove with an American brand but couldn't. I had bought the stove first and then designed my kitchen cabinets to fit accordingly. Thus, no other brands fitted. Therefore, I had to buy the same item a second time. Do you know what happened after a few months? Yeah, you guessed it right! The first burner to the left wouldn't turn off. I just disconnected the power to that particular burner and continued to use the stove until, yeah, the upper right burner followed suit, again. Yesterday I installed the third stove (in less than two years). Worst buy ever. Avoid it if you can and, above all, don't design your kitchen cabinets around it. Otherwise you'll be stuck with it like I am.

I love this stove top. It looks so stylish and matches my kitchen. It has safety features. I love cooking on this unit.

I was very acceptable at first but after using this for a few weeks I am extremely pleased with the quality and performance. Dont by a brand name from the box stores, this is way better than them. Highly recommend.

DISLIKE.. I bought this stove to place in my home and roughly 6 months into using it one of the burners stopped working and another is super slow heating up. Still with in the 1-year warranty, and covered under @Asurian insurance. I reached out to Asurian they say it’s still within its 1- year warranty, I need to reach out to the seller. So I reach to VivoHome customer service. They reply and ask for videos of the product, which I provided. They then offered “$140 plus a $ 6.5(tax) a (50%) partial refund as compensation.” And tell me I can keep the broken cooktop. Unless you prefer something else. I then asked them to just replace the stove I don’t want money I just want a stove that works. They came back with how about;“Dear customer,Thank you for your message.Since there are not all burners are damaged so we'd like to give you a $168 plus a $ 7.9 (tax) (60%) partial refund as compensation. You don’t need to return this item back.Is this an acceptable solution for you?We really regret any inconvenience caused.Waiting for your prompt reply!Best wishes,VIVOHOME Customer Care”All I want is a cooktop that is fully operational. Since I respond and told them they are causing more inconvenience and I would just like a replacement stove they have stopped replying all together. It’s coming up on 2 weeks with no response to multiple follow up emails by me.If you are selling a faulty product you need to recall it and fix the issue or provide a replacement.I do not recommend buying from Vivohome. They’re operations are out of China and VERY VERY POOR customer service.Jacob

I've had the Vivo HOME cooktop for 4 months now. It can get really hot fast. I have yet to go over #2 of 5 settings to cook anything but popcorn. The high gloss finish looks great when clean but it's easy to get dirty looking but fairly simple to clean with Weiman Cooktop spray cleaner and a micro fiber cloth with the occasional polishing with the Weiman Cooktop Cleaner and Polish. The child lock feature(?) is a pain in the butt. Even after 4 months use I still have a problem remembering to unlock it.

Like others' experience, my first cooktop had multiple cracks in it. I didn't unbox/discover these until I took the old one out--thus I had to reinstall the old one. I was not happy. The new cooktop works fine. It is a bit goofy with the oblong burner.I had very little choices on what to replace my cold cracked GE cooktop with because of the cutout in my counter top. GE changed its dimensions. After much searching, this is the only one that I could find that would fit (the Frigidaire was too deep).I thought I would some of you with wiring. The challenge was what we in the US call the various wires. The Chinese translated the instruction into Great British English, not American English/terms. Out of my wall I have a black, red, bare copper and cream colored wires. The bare copper and cream colored were attached together. For the new cooktop I hooked the copper and cream colored to the yellow-green wire called earth in the directions. In America we call that neutral. The red line from my wall I hooked up to the brown line (called live in the directions. I hooked up the black wire from my wall to the blue line from the cooktop. The good news is that this worked great and I didn't get zapped with 220 volts. I hope this is helpful

Our old unit although it was just over 10 years old seemed obsolete after purchasing this new unit. The child safety feature along with the two duel unit burners put our old unit to shame. In addition, the wiring was simple and almost as easy to install as a new desk lamp. In addition the timer provides flexibility where a needed quick shower while the rice needs a little more time is available with a 90 minute timer. Don't be put off by this reasonable price. It felt somewhat like shopping for a automobile where all those fancy features will never be used. We love our choice.
