This thing is very nice, I did a full setup when it arrived and it sounds absolutely amazing. After 30 years playing guitar I feel like I just finally found the one that makes me a better player.Literally an old d18 or even a vintage j45..or both combined sounding.Be prepared for a setup (that is every out of box guitar) fret ends were a bit sharp . Super easy fix!! Man this thing reminds me of and old gson

This is a nice guitar but mine came with a un level fretboard below the15th fret. It was unplayable past the 12 fret due to the strings getting dampened. I replace with a new bone saddle and it fixed it. But you really shouldn't have to do that with a new guitar. It does have great tone and looks. Also its very light and resonate. If it wasn't for the fretboard I would have given it 5 stars.

I am very happy with this guitar. It has great value for the money. It's nice and light and sounds wonderful. Personally the only negative for me is that the Neck joins the body at the 12th fret rather than the 14th other than that it's an awesome solid wood guitar all around. Thank you, Recording King and Butler Music!

This is my second Recording King guitar and I just have to say it punches way above it's price point. I mean WAY ABOVE. I've been playing guitar professionally for over 40 years. I own 30+ guitars to date ranging in price from $300-$1500. With the exception of the Recording King RD-328 this guitar simply out performs and outshines all of them. I can tell you in all honesty that this guitar will easily compete with any of the big brand names out there and for a fraction of the price. Take my word for it. There's no need to spend thousands of dollars in order to have a great guitar. Recording King is your answer. They are built very well. There's no sloppy glue inside the body, the fit and finish are all good, all solid wood construction, etc... I don't know how they're building guitars of this quality and selling them so inexpensively but I'm very glad they are. Check out J.P. Cormier's review of this model as well as the RK RD-328 to hear them in action. Then see the video comparison of the RD-328 vs his 15 year old Clarence White Martin D28. Long story short 51% of the listeners mistook the Recording King for the Martin in a blind sound test.
