Been playing guitar for 13 years now and I really enjoy bringing this outside for me and my friends to play. Honestly, I have no issues lending them this guitar since it has carbon fiber material and probably resistant to most bumps or scratches. I have had this guitar for almost a year now. And man it's still one of my favorite out there. Built in effects and speaker is good on occasion I don't want to bring a pedal and an amplifier. Sound is unique compared to a typical mahogany or spruce guitar. It is brighter in sound but I like it on most songs I play. I am quite happy with the zero fret action (it is low and its not hard on the hand to do bends) I don't think it requires pro set up as well as it is very playable right of the box. Overall, I think this is good quality guitar for the price point and realistically does not need maintenance which is also big up if u want to leave it in the car. I don't worry about leaving this guitar in the car despite the extreme weather temperature we experience here in Canada.

I met a guy who had two Emerald carbon fiber acoustics and I was blown away. First by the sound and then by the price. So I started my research and came across the Enya X4 pro. I'm not a fan of the gold hardware and the offset sound hole. So I was very happy to see they make the X3 pro and I snapped one up the X3 has the same electronics as the Nova Go but is full sized and sounds better "unplugged". The front is the traditional carbon fiber weave look that we've all seen on racecar hoods and spoilers. The back and sides appear to be glass reinforced plastic. It is matte and looks very clean. I like the rounded edges around the back. It makes it more comfortable to play. Out of the box, the X3 pro is heavier than you expect an acoustic to be. I presume that's due to the actuator and battery inside the body. The electronics work well, but mine seemed quieter than I would have liked. I discovered in the app that you can adjust the output level of the signal, but when you crank it up, the guitar becomes very buzzy and maybe even a little distorted. Once you find the sweet spot though, it sounds acceptable. I have the acoustic setting (green) dialed so that it only has some compression. I want at least one of the presets to be as close to true as possible. I have plans to verify that there aren't any loose plastic parts rattling on the inside of the guitar when I make the first string change. On that note; I usually change the stock strings on every guitar I buy on day one, but these sound good, so I left them. I think I read somewhere that the x3's comes with D'Addarios on them.Out of the box, the guitar played horribly. The action was ridiculous and I spent an hour that first day adjusting the truss rod. Then a couple of tweaks the next day and it played like a different guitar. After I got the truss rod where I thought it was perfect, I trimmed the saddle down about 1mm. I don't recommend doing that if you don't have experience with it. The truss rod adjustment alone was enough, but I'm pretty picky about my setup. You should take any new guitar to a luthier for adjusting as the techs at the factory have to do so may that they don't have time (or patience) to make every one perfect. The neck is the same matte black glass reinforced plastic at the back and sides and plays smoothly without being sticky. I wonder if it's going to start to polish where I play the most like my wood guitars have. Time will tell. All in all, this guitar is really good. I didn't buy it for the effects, I bought it for it durability and price. For anyone who can't, or won't, pay the painful prices for the bigger named guitars this one will work just fine. I give it four stars because of the rattle at high output levels. You would think that the manufacturer would plan for that. However, it has a bright ringy tone that wooden guitars don't have. As such, it's a welcome addition to my collection. And it will stand up to outdoor use and travel better than the wooden guitars will. I often go from places with high humidity to low humidity with widely varied temperatures and I've always worried about my wood guitars in those situations. I don't have to worry with this one. If you're looking to tryout a CFRP guitar and you don't want to break the bank, this is probably the guitar for you. Happy picking.

This has incredible resonance and sounds even bigger when plugged in. The reverb and other effects don't really register until you plug it in, but very useable when you do. The small size make this ideal for guick song writing and practice session or when you want to be more easily portable like playing outdoors. I still prefer my wood top Taylor for bigger or more formal gigs, but this is definitely worth the much smaller price tag.
Very bad quality ... Horrible instructions

Out of the box it plays rough, but once you get it setup it plays quite easy.... The effects are very neat and when compared to dreadnought guitar this guitar will definitely keep up and even cut through them at times acoustically without the use of effects. It certainly is not perfect but for the price of the average carbon fiber manufacturing factories world wide this guitar is by far the best bang for the buck and should be considered the best entry level acoustic guitar ever. Tuning is accurate... The neck is straight but not really adjustable (not a deal breaker) but the intonation is very close all the way up the neck. I highly recommend this guitar for beginner, intermediate, and advance players who do not want to ruine their wooden instruments for the use of playing outside... I have yet to test what it sounds like plugged in but I've seen other reviews speaking highly and can't wait to test it... Happy picking everyone!

I had been interested in this Enya Carbon Fiber Acoustic Electric Guitar X4 Pro Mini AcousticPlus 36” 3/4-Sized Guitar for awhile but wanted to see if I could catch it on sale. When that happened here on Amazon, I jumped on it, and boy, I'm glad I did. I had it professionally set up, as I do with all my instruments. The sound is a bit different than a wooden acoustic, neither better nor worse, just not quite the same ... and I like it. The sustain is probably better than any of my other acoustic guitars, and I particularly enjoy the built in reverb. Since the top is carbon fiber and the rest synthetic, it is unaffected by the humidity or temperature, which is a big plus if you've ever had to adjust the truss rod on a wooden guitar when in a damp environment. The offset sound hole seems to project the sound to the player's ear better than the traditional center hole. The craftsmanship on this guitar is top notch, just as it is on my Enya uke. As far as size goes, I'm a big guy (6'4", 235), but playing a jumbo never felt comfortable for me. This 3/4 size acoustic Enya feels just right and does everything I want it to.With my electric guitars, I favor white, while my other acoustics are natural wood finish. This is my first black one and is a nice change. The included shiny black hard plastic plush case is exceptional, with detachable back straps, rubber legs that allow is to stand upright, on its back, and on its side and is easily worth $150+ by itself.Bottom line: I guess that the measure of my satisfaction with this wonderful guitar is that after owning it for awhile now, I have decided to find new homes for my (top brand names) wooden acoustic guitars. This one suits my need for an acoustic just fine and I suspect it will do the same for you.
