I was skeptical when I took it out of the box, it's very small, and I mean VERY SMALL. I was surprised that it came fully charged. Clipping onto the head stock was easy, and it held on firmly while I tuned the guitars. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, and I recommend if your looking for an inexpensive tuner.

Easy to clip on and tune for guitars without a built in tuner. Much easier than cutting a hole out of your guitar to add one. Seems accurate when I tune and play with songs on the radio, and when I check with my other guitars built in tuners. Great price for this compact tuner

This tuner is pretty decent the only thing I don't like is the clamp I've had many like this one it's not able to fit on some of my guitars properly but overall it gets the job done.

This tuner works well for me. I tried tuning my guitar with this tuner and another brand of tuner both attached to my headstock at the same time. The 2 tuners agreed on the pitch each time, so I assume they are equally accurate. This one is rated at 0.5 cents accuracy and the other brand is rated at 1.0 cents accuracy, so I don't know if those ratings are useful.I like that this tuner is smaller than most so it more easily fits in my gig bag. The bright screen makes it easy to read even though it is smaller than my other tuners. The negative of the smaller size is that the battery is smaller and doesn't last as long, but it still lasts for weeks of regular use and the battery level is displayed on the screen, so I never have to worry about the battery dying unexpectedly. This tuner is fixed at 440Hz standard pitch while some others (even at this price range) allow you to adjust the pitch by a few Hz up or down. If you're playing in a band or orchestra that really wants to use a non-standard pitch, this tuner won't work for you, but this isn't a problem for most amateurs. No USB-C cable is included and for some reason this device is not compatible with the USB-C Power Delivery cable that I use to charge my phone. It does charge using a USB-A to USB-C cable, though.

This works as well as any of the clip-on tuners I've tried. The rechargeable feature is nice because I tend to run out of the 2032 batteries. It's no more or less accurate than others I've tried, except the Peterson, which is much more expensive. It is highly recommended!

I have excellent relative pitch, so have always tuned my guitars by ear. Which works… until you try to play with someone else. Even if I use a tuning fork, it doesn’t take long for my whole tuning to shift up or down a bit. When recording parts, this is problematic. So I started using the tuner built into my looper; it works, but I wouldn’t call it convenient, or exacting. However, this clip-on unit is a breeze! So intuitive that I never read the directions, I just clipped it on, and started tuning. A clear, easy interface, and a fairly exacting tuning zone. I might adjust one or two strings a hair by ear afterwards, but I’m not convinced that’s making it more accurate, perhaps just more sympathetic with the guitar. This will be my go-to tuning option.

I’ve been playing guitar for almost twenty-five years now. Although I have a decent musical instrument collection, I can count on one hand the amount of tuners I own as I typically opt for the built-in guitar tuner on my Helix. That being said, when I saw a clip-on rechargeable tuner, below $15, I figured I’d pick up one more to sit on a headstock until I need it.The AUPHY Rechargeable Guitar Tuner looks like any other clip-on guitar tuner. It’s small, black in color, and has a heavy-duty, spring-loaded clip. The AUPHY (not including the clip) measures approximately 1.6” tall x 1.13” wide x .5” deep. It has a brightly lit LED screen on the front face and the main unit can tilt up and down as well as rotate 360 degrees without issue. It takes a decent amount of pressure to open the spring-loaded clip. The inside of the clip is faced with rubber to securely fasten it to your guitar’s headstock without leaving marks (though I wouldn’t recommend leaving it attached to a guitar finished in nitrocellulose for an extended period of time). The AUPHY Rechargeable Guitar Tuner has a built-in battery that is charged via a USB-C cable (not included). When recharging, the battery icon flashes on the upper right hand side of the LED screen indicating charging is active as well as displaying charge capacity when in use. The unit is easily rechargeable via USB-C to a USB port or utilizing a USB power brick. Documentation indicates charging time takes less than one hour, the battery life is approximately 3 hours at full charge, and the unit can be recharged over 500 times (I have not tested these claims). To conserve battery life, the unit shuts off after three minutes of use.The guitar tuner functions as it should and has four tuning modes — Chromatic (C), Guitar (G), Violin (V), and Ukulele (U). Tuning is displayed via a color-graded meter with flat being yellow and sharp indicating red. If your instrument is in tune, the meter stops at the blue arrow in the center of the meter. The note name and string number also displays while tuning. The tuner’s documentation indicates accuracy within +- 0.5 cent. In testing with an audible tuner emitting each note, I found that the lower three strings read a bit sharp using the AUPHY while the higher three strings displayed as in tune. In my opinion, the human ear would not be able to discern that your instrument isn’t perfectly in tune if it’s within that 0.5 cent margin. In all, I’m satisfied with the AUPHY Rechargeable Guitar Tuner as it functions as intended and is less expensive than some of the other rechargeable clip-on guitar tuners on the market. The only qualms I have with the unit is that there is a bit of light leakage from the sides of the LED screen where the screen doesn’t make contact with the front face of the housing. This may be an issue in the future if the screen is already separating. The unit also does not ship with a small USB-C cable (which would’ve been useful).

I already have a couple of these type of clip Tuner. This one is better, because I can charge it whenever I want. Replacing coin cells is annoying. This seems to work as well as my super snark, and this costs less. Frankly, I might get rid of the others, as the only reason you need more than one is for when the batteries die. This is great, and everything in the world should be usbC rechargable.
