I just bought a new home in October. All of my emergency flashlights were acid-eaten from old batteries from our previous house. They rarely if ever got used, mainly because the power never once went out in 14 years there. Go figure. I trashed those ancient things and upgraded my emergency flashlights to these models. It is so rare that we get any formidable weather down here in West Texas to force any type of power outage, but owning these now we are truly prepared for anything where emergency lights are required. For the price, these are beasts. These flashlights are BRIGHT (not like the misleading advertising photo, but yes still very bright), and they don't take too much time to recharge, either which is a big plus. Be careful, though; they do get warm to the touch after prolonged use, so they are not the best flashlights for the kids to play with, IMO. They are hefty, too. Heaven forbid it ever happens, but you can use it to defend yourself as a club if the need ever arises.

recently replaced my old LED flashlight with the Baibian 1,500,000 Lumens Flashlight, and the difference is night and day! This thing is insanely bright—it easily illuminates my entire backyard with a powerful beam that reaches far beyond what my previous flashlight could handle. The zoomable adjustable focus is a game changer, allowing me to switch between a broad floodlight and a focused spotlight depending on my needs. Plus, the six lighting modes (including a super bright mode) offer versatility for any situation, whether I’m checking around my property or dealing with an emergency.Battery life is also impressive. On a full charge, it lasts for hours, and the fast-charging feature means I’m not waiting around when I need to recharge. The built-in circuit protection gives me peace of mind that this flashlight is built to last.Durability-wise, the IP67 waterproof and shockproof design makes it perfect for outdoor use. I’ve used it in heavy rain, and it kept working flawlessly. The aviation-grade aluminum body feels solid and reliable.Overall, this is hands down the best flashlight I’ve ever owned. Whether you need it for security, outdoor adventures, or emergency situations, the Baibian flashlight won’t disappoint!

It's ridiculously bright. It's got the correct power I/O: USB-C input and USB-A output. It's got the neat sliding zoom / focus feature. So the design is perfect! Except for one thing ...I initially came in here mostly to say that the light pattern is just fine. Some other reviews complained about the raster / grid pattern seen in the light beam if you focus / zoom all the way in / tight, but if you then just back it off a tiny bit it blurs to a solid field of white. The one problem I had was with charging. When plugged in, the buttons never lit up red, despite using a known-good charger and cable. I thought it was charging and just an indicator problem, but eventually I found that it wasn't actually charging at all and the flashlight was dying. Then I tried another USB-C charger (low power) and it worked. OK great, I have my cool new flashlight again! But it's inconvenient since I can't use the USB-C cable that I use for everything else. Hey Baibian, if you reach out to me to get my charger info so you can do your own testing, I'll raise this review from 4 stars to 5.

Update. I now own 4 of these Baibian flashlights. For the money you won't find a better flashlight. I have three different versions of these Chinese flashlights, and this is the best one of them all. I have accidently dropped this light 3 or 4 times on the concrete and it still works. The lumens are probably between 2,000 to 3,000 lumens. The listed lumens are a joke. The brightest flashlight in the world is only about 120,000 lumens and it has multiple LI-ion batteries and fans to keep it from burning up not to mention is costs about $700.00. Still this flashlight is very bright. The battery that comes with the flashlight is an unprotected 26650 Chinese cell. Li-Ion batteries should be charged at least once a month or maybe more depending on how much the flashlight is used to keep the voltage up above 2.45 volts. This flashlight will not recharge this unprotected cell when is falls below 2.45 volts. Therefore, do yourself a favor and purchase a pair of Japan made Orbtronic 26650 5950mah protected batteries from Orbtronic.com. They cost about $15.00 each but you won't have to worry about the flashlight recharging the battery. This battery has microchips at the cathode and anode to protect for overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and temperature. The battery is rated for a continuous 10-amp discharge rate, so you won't have to worry about the flashlight turning off after being on for a short period of time as many reviewers have complained about. The battery can be recharged 500 times and has a lifespan of 5 years with many reviewers saying they have used these batteries over 10 years. I have purchased 12 of these batteries and I now use them in all 4 of my Baibian flashlights. This is an excellent flashlight for the price. This flashlight comes with the unprotected 26650 size Li-Ion battery. It will also accept the unprotected 26700 size battery as well. This flashlight will not work with 26800 long cells. I have purchased 3 different brands of this type of flashlight. The main difference between them is the rear cover which will determine which battery length can be used. In other words, you can use either the 26650, 26700, or 26800 battery in any of these flashlights if you have the correct tail cover. Right now, the 26800 cells are nowhere to be found. So, one might want to stick with the 26650 length battery version. If unprotected Li-ion batteries drop below a specified voltage around 2.45V, most will not recharge unless you have a special battery charger equipped with 0 volt activation function. While using these different flashlights, I have discovered that one does not have to cycle thru all of the 5 or 6 modes of the on/off switch. Simply hold down the power button 3 seconds after the flashlight turns off.
