Boy, we are terrible about writing reviews when companies deserve them. This little workhorse is exactly what I needed. The company is excellent as well, and they stand by their product. Nearly 10 months after being able to expect any warranty or help from Amazon or otherwise, I decided to message the seller (uvBeast) about an issue I had with the charging port not accepting any usb-c cable other than the really seemingly long usb-c cable it came with and that even that one was having trouble charging the flash light lately. They, without question, asked to send me a replacement with an updated version at no cost and not requiring the return of the previous light. I received it and it rocked all this time (since May of 2024) until I misplaced that replacement, and I absolutely am buying another one because these folks deserve every dollar. Excellent little uv flash light for night shift ICU work, and excellent company that stands behind their product!

very nice, but the charger either sucks or the battery does, cuz I can never get it to completely charge. That said the function and form factor itself is superb.

Bought this to use on curing resin for tying trout flies. Light arrived and when I used it it had a sort of dead spot right in the middle of the beam. Contacted the seller (uvBeast) and they could not have been more professional and accommodating. Ended up sending me out a new light and told me to keep the old one. Very powerful, love the rechargeability. Definitely recommend.

I have found this UV flashlight to be the gold standard! I collect Victorian EAPG glass as well as vintage vaseline and uranium glass and a good, strong UV flashlight is my trusty sidekick in identification! Over the last year, my father's health began to fail and I spent most of my free time caring for him at his home until his passing in early November. I put the 'beast' away in a safe place, aka where I couldn't find it. Over Christmas, while looking for my grandkids christmas presents (which had suffered a similar fate), i found the Beast again and put it on charge. After twelve hours of charging, nothing happened. I tried for a longer time with the same result, went to the website and made sure that I had followed all of the troubleshooting steps and then wrote to the company asking for help. Seb, the Customer Service representative who corresponded with me, wrote me back within a day and gave me a couple of other suggestions to see if we could get it up and running, but to no avail. I wrote him back last night with the result and by this morning, in my inbox, he had written back telling me that they were expediting a new flashlight to me! I was floored. I have truthfully not encountered that level of customer service in what feels like forever, if ever! The kindness and non-judgmental advice added to my experience greatly. This is a company that stands firmly behind their exceptional products with exceptional customer service and I wouldn't hesitate for one second to recommend both the flashlight and the company to anyone looking for a similar device!

Seems like a decent little piece, feels solid, lens appears to be glass, all aluminum body, sealed with nice, solid, what appear to be silicone O-rings. Charges via a standard USB-C, and it actually comes with a charger & cable. The battery is a 21700 lithium cell, 4000mAh 3.7V, should give decent life, under the hood, it lights AC, Coolant and oil dyes bright enough, even in daylight to see them fluoresce without the yellow glasses. The battery is removable, so you can pick up spares, and have them on a charger, always ready to go if you manage to run down the battery, or someone borrows it, and gives it back to you dead when you need it. The wrist strap and metal pocket clip are nice touches.

This UV flashlight has all the necessary specs. Very large rechargeable battery, sufficiently bright, uses high quality materials, and even includes a reminder on what to do for first time use (like remove the sticker on the battery inside!). As many users commented, think twice before using this in a dark bathroom unless you already have a "deep clean" project on your mind. I have not tried to cure adhesives but that is a project for the weekend. I don't think you can go wrong with this product. No special glasses included, so never look directly at the light wondering if it's on as this would be something like looking directly at the sun. This is a special purpose flashlight which produces ultraviolet light. Recommended.

I like the smaller size, durability, price, rechargeability, powerful uv, not too heavy, pocket clip, and does'nt get too hot. (Where it says uv BEAST, is kinda rough and jagged from the cnc machine.) On both sides. Too bad it does'nt come in different colors. It works great for automatic watches with lume! Very cool for $40 bucks.

It’s an understatement that this was designed by engineers, it works efficiently. The throw is a good 20 feet and the frequency is perfect for detection, do not flashes in the eyes cause it Is not safe. Not as powerful as the industrial versions, but for its size it is quite impressive. Good job guys good job.

Works fine besides the fact that it dies by itself in under two weeks of no use. Have to unscrew the battery after i’m done which, for over 100$ makes this bot worth it
