this may be a cabling issue. i will attempt to use a lower rated cable. i used cat8 and cat7 with speeds no higher than 8Mbps while my wifi hits 700Mbps. it works and pages load without too much lag, so this works as an on-the-go option if you dont have a good wifi signal. it is small which is usefull.

Now I have 1 Gbps LAN for my Sony Bravia 9 for the streaming of 4K high bitrate (46,000Kbps up) movies from my ENTERTAINMENT server. Movies of this quality, Ethernet is ALWAYS more reliable than WiFi 7!

Worked perfectly for my laptop. Connection was nice and steady. Was able to download my games faster than the wifi would have allowed me. Good stuff.

I’ve been using the Reborn USB-C Ethernet Gigabit Adapter for a couple of weeks now, and it works great overall. The flip design is super convenient, especially with the dustproof feature, as it keeps things neat and tidy when not in use. It’s a solid build, and I love that it offers fast, reliable network speeds when I need to plug directly into Ethernet, especially on my MacBook Pro and iPhone 15 Pro. Setup was a breeze – just plug it in, and it’s ready to go.The only downside is that the adapter is a bit oversized. When it’s plugged in, it covers the adjacent USB port, making it impossible to use both at the same time. This can be a bit of a hassle if you need multiple ports at once. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s definitely worth considering if you need full port access.Overall, it’s a great product that does exactly what it’s meant to do. Would recommend, but just be aware of the size issue!

You get what you want with the price. It functions very well when it comes to internet speeds. However, we'll see how it holds up with multiple uses in the coming months, especially since I'm on the move and have to unplug and plug back in multiple times. I fear that the connector is a bit jiggly and wobbly and could break off, but will update if anything happens.

These 2 USB-C Ethernet adapters are a steal at just $12.99 (when reviewed) for the pair! Over the last few years, every single computer I've had to reinstall Window or Linux on, for whatever reason, the motherboard Ethernet adapter is never detected. Until I got these adapters, I was carrying around a bulky USB-C hub, which also decided not to always work. What is it with Windows and Linux not wanting to detect MB Ethernet?
