The Rear Under Seat Storage Box for the Rivian R1S is a solid addition for anyone looking to make better use of the space under the second-row middle seat. It fits securely once positioned, but the foam padding on the sides makes installation a bit tricky—expect some resistance when sliding it into place. Over time, I am concerned that the foam may wear out a bit, making for a loose, but for now, it stays put and doesn’t rattle.The dividers are a good idea, but I wish the design maximized the full height of the space rather than leaving a gap between the floor and the tray. Its simply too tight to really fit much in there.As for build quality, it feels decent but not particularly premium. The plastic construction is sturdy enough, but like others I saw some blemishes on the bottom of the tray. It doesn’t seem flimsy, per se, but I wouldn't bank on it having a long lifespan.Price-wise, I have to agree with others—this feels overpriced for what it is. It does the job well enough, but isn't a slam dunk product. With some tweaks I think it could be a four star product, but the limited space makes it difficult for any product in this category to be a five star product.

This under-seat storage box is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted something to utilize the space under the middle row seat in my Rivian R1S, and this fits perfectly.It's great for storing extra items for the kids, and it stays securely in place thanks to friction. I even added a non-slip liner, but it probably wasn't necessary.The box is well-made and seems durable. It's also easy to access and doesn't take away from the look of the vehicle's interior.Now I just need to find something similar for the outboard seats! If you're looking for a way to add extra storage to your Rivian R1S, I highly recommend this under-seat storage box. I agree the cost does seem excessive but I've been searching for months and I wish I saw this earlier instead of wasting hours at various stores with a measuring tape trying to find an alterative.

Ok storage bin that fits on the floor between the two backseat passengers. Unfortunately doesn't appear to latch or snap in. We'll see how long it stays in there before kids remove it or it falls out.Pros:* Shipped without damage in strong box* Fit with no major issues* Adds storage to a mostly unused space in the vehicle.Cons:* Foam sides to prevent rattles... not sure how long before foam reforms with summer heat and the tray no longer stays put.* Feels solid, but resin had defects that were noticeable in the bottom. Looked like something already stained the bottom under the rubber liner.* Cost. This should run 20-30. It was listed at nearly 2x that. Not sure plastic is worth that much. We'll see how long it lasts.

I thought this storage tray would sit on the floor of the R1S and therefore give you as much height as possible, as you can see in the picture it’s the opposite, the tray slides on the underside of the seat leaving a gap between the floor and bottom of the tray. When putting the tray on the floor and trying to slide it in, there is lots of resistance and seems the foam is too thick. When I raise it, it slides in with a good amount of resistance. I think the sides must be slightly tapered (wider at the top and narrower on the bottom). As the foam wears I think it will work its way down. Design wise, I’d prefer if it sat on the floor to maximize space. I like the divider option to help prevent rattles. I think this is a bit overpriced, and would like to see it at a lower price point.

This storage/organizer is NOT for the Rivian R1T. It is for the R1S (SUV) only. I messaged the manufacturer who insisted it works for the Rivian truck, it does not. The product description and title is still incorrect as of the time of this review.The storage box itself is well constructed and packaged, too bad I can't make use of it. Sending it back.
