I have been looking for a trash box inside Tesla and finally this is the solution. It fits very well and it helps my kids to organize better.

It fits well in the space but it doesn't stick strong enough with the material provided. I had to screw mine in to keep it in place.

I will start out by saying I got this with the expectation that it wouldn't fit but I had to test it out. As of this review (Jan 2025) the listing says it is for a 2024/2025 Model Y and the 2025 isn't out yet, I have a 2020 Model Y Performance (as the title states). I was happily surprised to see that it did fit and it fit perfectly! No modification needed, no finagling, it slid right into place. It came with 4 double sided sticky pads and 2 Velcro strips. The Velcro was perfect since the carpet comes up on my console some and so far it has been strong enough to hold it in place. I haven't put it to much use yet and I am not the type to leave any trash in my car (if you use it as a garbage can) but it adds a little bit of extra storage which is always nice. It also comes with one of those little shopping bag holders that clip onto the plastic on the back of the driver or passenger seats. Not something I would purchase on my own but it was a nice little bonus in the box.If you are thinking about picking this up then I would definitely recommend it and if you are unsure about it fitting...well, it is amazon so they make returns super easy.

I didn’t realize how much storage I needed in a car! The model Y has some storage on the front of the car but nothing in the back where the kids usually bring all their little toys and snacks, this is perfect. Goes right in between the front seats but in the back for easy access to their things.It’s a good plastic with a lead to hide it. Super easy to install, it literally just slides in and the size is perfect. Looks seamless as if it was part of the cat. It is even the same color gray. I didn’t even use the double sided tape and velcro in brings to install it, but once we drive it if it moves then i’ll secure it even more with it. I figured without it'll be easier to remove it. It works to store a good amt of items and different sizes. It doesn’t get in the way of your feet either.Would def recommend for extra storage.

This made my Tesla so neat and organized. Very high quality and easy to install. I already put my stuff in before so I didn’t take a picture but it looks exactly the same as described.

It's well fit for my Model Y. It slots under the air vent, looks great, and stays super secure. The installation was simple, and it was like it was meant to be there.
