This is the correct solution to a factory mistake. After dealing with the old nut and bolt removal, these go right in, figment is excellent, and they solve the future replacement for that life long vehicle. Great product, fair price.

Think I may have gotten a bad batch not sure, the brackets didn’t line up in the holes no matter how much I tried. The bracket was bent too far and when it got in location it left the nuts at an angle that made putting the bolts in extremely difficult to insert. I was able to get one bolt in but in order to get the shock mated up I had to hang the bolt out by about one or two threads. yes I know I could have bent the bracket into shape but after three hours of fighting it I was over them and overnighted a set from rough country. I don’t doubt this kit would have worked if I had reworked the brackets but I just didn’t want to after fighting it for several hours

very easy to install, took about 30sec. to remove old nuts with a air chisel. I would buy again. Update I did by again used on a 1992 xj

This is my 4th old Jeep that I’ve restored and the rear shock bolts always break, at least 1 out of 4 anyway. These thinks work like a champ and are well worth it!

Worked perfectly, old shock bolts sheared off immediately upon trying to remove them. Factory design makes it impossible to just put regular nuts and put a bolt through. Flag nuts allows this replacement. Steel seems a little soft, I don't know how long they will last, the bolts seem like hardware store bin grade, not grade 8 steel. Price is cheap enough if they break I will buy another pair and start over. Better than what I had before.

This metal piece are a lifesaver, my shock broke and so was the screws. They were charging me $200 to fix both side in the back, I went and bought this and my mechanic charged me $50 to install them, I Didn’t feel doing it myself, but it was an easy and cheap fix. You can really do this yourself. This is a problem solver and cheaper than the rough country.

When lifting my friends XJ the rear upper shock bolts snapped. This fix was super quick and easy! We didn’t have an air hammer, but a few good sharp blows with a long punch and hammer made quick work of the factory nuts. We had the shocks installed with the new upper nuts within 20 minutes. I’ve since bought extra to keep on the shelf just in case this happens to another XJ I might be working with.
