It is great! Holds books or sheet music and has clips. Cost more than the cheap one I returned, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

安い割にはしっかりした作り。厚めの本は、無理かもしれない。とても使いやすいです。

Even though the dimensions of this desktop stand were evident in the description, I was initially disappointed in how small this thing is. My bad. Then I tried it. It holds two 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper (in portrait orientation) quite well, though it won't hold three pages unless the margins on all three are quite wide. The clips are very strong, so hiding a third or fourth sheet behind the others, with the intention of removing the first ones on the fly, won't work. On the other hand, this stand will securely hold a "standard" song book that, opened, is 12 inches tall, 18 inches wide, and 300 pages deep. Similarly, it will hold a smaller format, 1000-page scorebook not only opened in the middle but also with 950 pages on one side and only 50 on the other. This thing is a little monster. Due to the strong clips, turning pages may not be easy (but if you're prepared, you can keep the page(s) to be turned outside the clips). Very glad I gave it a try.

Really solid, lightweight and no doubt perfect for someone who needed to refer to pages in a book, whether for a recipe or an important diagram or text. But I mostly read novels and the spring-loaded page holders work too well to easily turn pages. I'm going to hang on to this to use in the kitchen, but I'm going to keep looking for something that lets me flip pages easily.

I've been using this for reading books as a first year law student. They hold the 1500 page hardcover books without an issue and there are little prongs that keep the pages down with rubber to prevent crinkling pages. Its been nice, I use them to delineate starting and stopping pages for reading and haven't had an issue. Also folds up really easy to take to the library. Genuine 5/5 stars, couldn't be more thrilled.Haven't used for smaller books as I prefer a kindle for pleasure reading but I assume it would be good for that as well.

Great and sturdy book holder. However, the clip is not adjustable, making it a hassle if you need to flip the pages of your book. Not so user friendly if you do frequent flipping.

Good second book stand. I use it on a desk with a music stand for multiple open books. Gave it 3 stars because the first one sent was missing parts. The new one sent as a replacement was packaged in bubble wrap and boxed well. Appears they sent me a returned item that was missing parts and not even packaged correctly the first time.

I've had this stand for about 6 months and use it regularly for Bible reading. I like that it provides multiple angles. It is lightweight, easy to set up, and very sturdy. It never tips or collapses and the clips hold the pages flat. It really saves me from neck pain! It's just what I needed.

I have an ASUS 15.6" Portable Monitor (MB168B) and I have never liked how the case converts to the stand. You have to lay it flat on the desk/table and it takes up so much room it is very limiting. In conference rooms during meetings, I felt like "that person" who takes up half the room as her personal space. I was looking for something lightweight and portable, but sturdy enough to prop the monitor on. It also needed to be adjustable. The primary angle I use is the most upright position, but it's nice to tilt it back a bit more when there is a glare on the monitor. The arms to hold books open or documents in place can be adjusted so they don't actually touch the monitor screen. I just leave them a little off the monitor as a safety measure in case the monitor tips - hasn't happened yet. Finally, it folds up flat and can be packed in a briefcase or backpack easily for travel and is very lightweight. All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase and the price was right!
