I like this knob for my subwoofer Volume control because it's different. A lot of us hold our knobs and never mount them. I didn't mount this one. Other than it's small mounting tabs... it's cool to hold. It's plastic but the build quality is great. The functionality is smooth and not too loose when you turn the potentiometer. You definitely can't beat the value for your money.
