My hubby carved out the front slots so 1 inch bars could also be hung along side the 2 inch! Love this product.

This is a nice, sturdy barbell holder. It's great for getting things organized and off our gym floor. If you only have a couple of olympic barbells, these holders are the way to go. I can also hang my bands and jump rope. I appreciate that the top is covered with rubber to keep from scratching and making noise. I always use my own screws so I can't speak to the quality of the screws.

Three point attachment to the wall makes it super sturdy. I was a little worried about how well it would hold all of my stuff when I first put it up, but its like a rock. I hang everything on there now, and it doesnt even flinch. Has a nice rubberized surface so it doesnt make a lot of noise when hanging barbells on it. I would absolutely recommend this, and get it again myself

I bought this to hold my 45lb(7') and 25lb (5') olympic barbells, and this it does very well. The rubber pad makes it silent to put them on and off, the edges are angled up to keep the bars on, and it's thick steel, with a durable coating.The included screws, however, are note suitable for installation directly into studs. They are designed for the included plastic mounts, so you should plan on drilling. If you try to drive the included screws into wood, such as a stud, directly the head breaks off long before the screw is fully installed. I used deck screws, and I didn't buy it for the mounting system, so I'm not marking off any stars, but be aware that the included screws are only suitable for the plastic inserts that are included. A screw driver is included as well.It doesn't flex at all under the 75lb load of the two barbells, I have no doubt it will last a very long time.

It is a good holder, but in my opinion requires better screws for secure mounting. I did replace those screws from the kit with a better and stronger ones. The bracket itself is made of a thick steel and feels solid and strong to support those heavy Olympic bars. I think the price is a little bit high for this kit. Although the bracket will work fine if you attach it to the wall properly.

I was placing my barbell/bands/accessories all on the floor before purchasing this. The quality of this is great and is thick gauge. The install with three screws and I used the plastic retainers since I placed it on the drywall in the garage. I currently have my olympic bar/bands and other equipment hanging from the holder. It's been up for about 1 month. the holder hasn't got loose from the wall. It is quality and will last on the wall. It definitely cleared up space from the floor.

The product itself seems well-made but I have my doubts about the screws that came with it. I am waiting to install it until I get better hardware for the two screws that won't be in an actual stud. It does seem like it wills save some space.
