These are junk. Spend the extra $15 for quality. This turned my truck into a one wheel spinner instead of 4wd. They are junk, no power to the wheels , not traction nothing

I watched enough videos to know that they send them the way nobody wants them, without the locker spool installed, but there are quite a few things Youtubers left out of their installs, and reviews.Teardown to swap in the spool was simple, I added a bit of grease to all the gears.Done, simple.EDITED: To include additional issuesI understand you cant design your products to work with other brands, Especially when there are so many, yet you making your design vary so drastically from the OEM design means that most products designed for the TRX4M will not work with these Axles. (Yes I know I shouldnt expect them too, just wish I knew this before purchase so Im telling you about it so you dont buy them)-- Flex Blades (Injora Specifically) Will not work with these axles (I ended up removing mine completely)*They hit the C-Hub, so they wont sit on the axle....-- Drive Shafts / If The driveshafts use the original design, large at the axle, small at the gearbox, they will not work with these axles, you must use their included shafts.* Their shafts use an Inferior pin design (others use spline drives, you know like 1:1 vehicles........) which gives them a ton of wobble when close to full extension...* They use Tiny screws and a grub screw, yet they don't get tight, they still end up loose-ish, and add wobble (yes ive tried multiple times to make sure they are tight, they still wobble because of their poor design choice)* They are Chrome with very little black, and don't really fit in well aesthetically with the portals...(and they are ugly and tiny)-- Included Servo* Flexes worse than your stock Traxxas one does* The third time I ran my truck, the servo when turning started not returning to center, it would get close, but you had to turn it the opposite direction to get it to re center..... (stock traxxas out performs this servo)-- The Axles* They use a larger shaft size at the wheels, so you must use their loc-nuts, so certain wheel designs..... will not work* The very first time out with these axles, i noticed my front left wheel wouldn't drive all the time. Found out why.... The pin location on the lower portal axle isn't deep enough and the poor tolerance, would allow it to cam out of place. The depth for the axles, gear etc is 6mm, when pushed all the way seated the depth at the gear and bearing is 5mm, so i ended up finding a small shim to place against the bearing to remove the slack, and haven't had an issue since... However you will notice the bearing or shaft is making a groove in your portal axle housing, so eventually they will all need this shim to stop them from eating away at the portal and making the clearance issue worse* Gears, upon gears, upon gears, adds a METRIC TON of slop at the wheels and tires, so be ready for that, Im sure tolerances could be better, but the stacking of tolerances leads to almost half the tire diameter of unwanted moment, Now i have no comparison to other portals, so I dont know if this amount is acceptable, but it has been enough when crawling that it has lead to drops. fails, and even flip overs when that amount of slack lets the vehicle weight move forward or backward without drive inputOh yeah, and the tiny phillips....... go jump head first of a short curb stupidest hardware choice I've seen yet..... FAIL!!NEVER AGAIN, IM SORRY RCAWD..... YOUR PORTALS LOOK BAD455 BUT THATS NOT ENOUGH. Seriously with the driveshafts again, cmon.....

I don’t normally leave reviews but this isn’t some cheap thing. My setup looked like it was used already and gears didn’t even fit in the housing. It was so tight and sounded horrible. Really need some an inspection on product before shipping.

The hardware that comes with it is garbage . The screws for the drifeshaft are very tiny phillips head screws . Can't run gromits in injora shocks, the screws are too short. Does not fit 1.0 ogrc wheels the axle screw goes through wheel but can't get the hub nut on. May be great for others, but in my opinion not worth it

This is the only mod I've put on my Bronco and it's nearly doubled in capabilities. One reviewer mentioned the open difs, perhaps not realizing they could pull the axles, dif cover and install the included lockers. Which is precisely what I did. Awesome upgrade even if it costs as much as the truck.

The axles are open centers.Went to put on tires to check my stance after getting axle kit. Put first tire on all good, grabbed 2nd slid it on and started doing up the nut and the opposite tire started spinning backwards, noticed the tires were sagging after install, took it back apart and realized the bearings and housing were not machined well to fit causing alot of slop and camber. Pulled center diff to find a good imitation of spool, but just open spyders within. Do not recommend unless it's purely for show on a stand or just flat level ground driving.I really like the look and portal setup, but just did not pass the usability test.

I’m back one last time. This is the worst piece of garbage that I have ever had in my whole life. I’m having more problems with the teeth breaking off gears and the lockers again. These portal axles have never been right. I just threw them in the trash can and have a set of Injora portal axles coming that is actually cheaper than these. I would be ashamed to be selling a product of this quality. Very disappointed and will never buy another product from this company. Can I give less than one star?I’m here again. This is the worst crap that I have ever paid for and installed on an rc car. It is a shame that a company will sell crap like this at such a high price to people. Ever since I installed these portal axles they have been falling apart and have lots of play in them. I have had to install shims in the front portals to reduce some play which unlocked the differential. Stay clear of these axles! I should have never bought them.Edit- I’m back for the third time to change my review. I wish I had never bought these portal axles. They look nice, but are honestly garbage. As stated before, they come unlocked which is stupid. The servo also isn’t very strong and when I first installed it the servo horn was installed almost 180° backward. I could not believe that they had made such a mistake. Now the axles have been nothing but problems. Between things coming loose and falling apart to the gears rubbing the diff cover and gears in portals coming loose and slipping, I have had problems with them ever since I opened the box. I hate that I spent almost as much on these as I did the truck. If I could give zero stars I would. The axles look good, but I don’t know why someone thought it would be a good idea to ship them with unlocked differentials and small Philips screws. What seems to be an easy job turned into a few hours. Could’ve been a whole lot easier.
