My wife and I are getting up there and the eyes are not perfect. This solves the problem. Occasionally wondering what day it is, as we are both retired, has been solved. Just look at the clock which has been placed on a shelf under the television. The highest brightness setting is perfect.

I love that the display is large, and has the day of the week across the top, the date, day, temperature. The clock functions are so easy to set up. The brightness is adjustable. There are different colors to choose from to fit your need for your decor.

Our old large display living room clock finally died, so I ordered this one. I view it from across the room, and my wife, although closer to it, has very bad eyesight. This clock is easy to see for both of us, the display is big and bright. My wife stays at home and it's nice to see the date and day of the week so she doesn't lose track. We also like seeing the temperature. We found the clock easy to set, with individual buttons for each feature clearly labeled on the back. I set it by the time on our phones and it keeps the time perfectly.What could be better? Well, as easy as the buttons on the back are to access, you have to hold the clock by the edges or you'll inadvertently hit the snooze buttons on the top, thereby bumping you out of whatever feature you were adjusting. This is a bit annoying, but once you've figured out how to hold it, no big deal.The second thing I'd prefer would be for this to have the "atomic clock" feature. I looked for a similar clock that had that, but they were all considerably smaller. If it were an option available on this clock, I'd have happily paid a few dollars more for it. Again, the clock keeps good time, so this is more of a wish than a necessity.Summary: If you need/want a clock with a big, bright, easily read display, at a modest cost, I think you'll be more than pleased with this one. I consider it good value for money and recommend it.

I bought this clock for a senior relative that was struggling remembering the day of the week and was not taking their meds properly because of it. It has been a godsend! With a clear, large display this clock is actually ideal for anyone that would want to see the time, day, date etc from a distance - quite a distance. Accuracy has been great - I gave it to them a few weeks ago and recently returned for a visit; time is spot on! With it being electric, I am sure it will remain as such - as opposed to battery operated. My relative has been so happy with it! It is great not only because of the size and clarity of the text but that it is very bright...but be careful :-) it can easily be accidently dimmed. The dimmer adjustment is on the top of the unit and is near impossible for a senior with feeble hands not to touch it accidently. It is easy to re-adjust, of course, but if a person gets nervous around 'technology' ;-) they may not know how that happened. The other part - especially for a senior - is the adjustment/setting buttons are not easy to see (black on black), so I pre-set everything for my relative so they wouldn't have to try to see the buttons on the back of the unit. I did find the stand in the back to be the most frustrating part of this clock. It does not appear to be able to engage fully - there is a slot to slide it in, but if you lift or move the unit, the 'foot' slides off easily. I plan to tape it in place. Other than a few minor glitches, it has been an excellent clock and worth the price!
