I needed a silent alarm clock that doesn’t wake up anyone else in the bed cause I get up hours before my wife does. Single charge lasts for weeks. Vibration is plenty. Wakes me up without waking up my wife!

I’m completely deaf in my right ear and 50% hearing loss in my left ear. With tinnitus very bad when I don’t have my cochlear on and my hearing aid in, it’s hard to hear an alarm going off. I can’t sleep with my hearing devices on.This thing has been so great! Haven’t slept through an alarm since I’ve purchased this. I was a little concerned about it affecting my PTSD from the military with it going off, and it hasn’t affected me at all. The battery lasts forever! Charged when I purchased it and still have not recharged it. I know it’s been at least 4 months.

I now have bought 2 of these things, they work so well. One is for a family member that has a hard time waking up, the other is for me. I just set it and put it under my mattress and it wakes me up well. High recommendations from me! Also the customer service is top tier!

I'm at the point where I don't hear an alarm going off next to my bed, so I stuff this thing under my pillow and it vibrates me awake in the morning. As with many Chinese electronic products, the ergonomics are bad. The lid has no handle: You open the clamshell by inserting a fingernail between the two halves, a tricky task that almost always results in simultaneously pressing the "snooze" button. To resolve this issue, I attached a loop of self-adhesive velcro to the clamshell lid, as a handle.Once the clamshell is open, it reveals a bunch of identically-shaped buttons for date, time, and alarm settings. So you become accustomed to pressing certain buttons by their location, for example, when setting the alarm to a different time just before bed.For me, I found a vibration-only (no sound) setting of 80 percent to be adequate for waking me in the morning. The device hasn't needed to be recharged since the day I received it, maybe a month ago now.Altogether, a useful and dependable device.

Strong vibration is felt through pillow. No annoying ticking noise.Loud ringing. It definitely wakes my teenage daughter, who is very hard to wake at 6.30am. This is her 3rd alarm clock, only one to work effectively.

I had a different shaker alarm previously but when it stopped working I looked for something new. Needed to wake at 3 am to take specifically timed medication and didn’t want to wake my spouse. My previous shaker alarm had to be hooked up with wires from the clock portion to the shaker part. This new one is all self contained and needs to be on the bed to shake. Here’s why I like this one so much better. It comes with a little strap. I safety pinned the strap to the mattress, under the corner of my bottom sheet nearest my head. By this being so close to me, I set it on the lightest shaking. When the lid is closed, there is still an external switch to turn off the alarm which I had no trouble finding and pushing through the sheet. It is rechargeable and book says one charge will last 60 days. An indicator beep will sound when battery is getting low so I don’t have to dig it out of the bedding to check for battery level. Here are some other things I like about this: It is small so very portable for vacations, etc. It can be set to shake only with no audible alarm or you can have both. You can choose not to have lights on in the display if you don’t want constant lights showing the time. It’s pretty cute and fits the bill for my needs.

This clock is very well designed, and the vibration is strong enough to wake up a dead person! But there is a serious design flaw in the snooze button. It's virtually impossible to pick up or open the alarm clock without accidentally pressing the snooze button. I realize the idea is to make it easy to activate snooze and get another 9 minutes of sleep. But instead of turning the alarm off, I keep accidentally touching the snooze button, only to have it ring again in 9 minutes.

I use this alarm so I can get up before my husband. The alarm has a vibrate setting and an alarm setting or you can use them at the same time. I only use the vibrate setting. You can also adjust the power of the vibrate which is great. I use it on the lowest setting and it easily wakes me up. It's pretty easy to use especially after the initial set up. I've accidentally dropped this or pushed it off the bed before and it hasn't broken so I would say it's durable. It holds a charge really well too. Highly recommend as an alternative alarm!
