Terminated 8 connections with zero drama...the last 4 nothing but failures....pulled the connections off dumped it on a keystone works 1,2,3 and tests fine. Got a second panel basically the same nonsense but this time 4 were drama free.Same wire same tool, I have punched 1000s of jacks in my life. Total junk there is a reason this is cheap skip this panel and buy the keystone blank one....and put in the keystones...save yourself

I purchased this for my home network for placement in the basement. I've been working in IT for some time and when I had the chance to run a few lines in my house for access points and internet connections, I immediately thought about putting a small patch panel in the basement to clean up the connections. I purchased this patch panel, a puchdown tool and some cat 6. I also purchased a POE tester with connection wiring testing.I followed the T568B wiring standard on both the patch panel and the terminal connections on the cat 6, tested it with the POE tester and all connections were verified.

I added a structured wiring panel to my 1969 home with a number of CAT6 runs to various devices with back feeds to three DECO WiFi 6 mesh pucks. Added this to have a legit 110 panel demarc. Everything terminated without issue and all devices are working perfectly.

I am using this in a structured panel and it works great. Easy to read guides on the back and everything fits nicely.

This is a capable implementation but does vary from industry standard design. The black metal panel thickness is half the thickness of industry standard design. The white plastic mounting bracket is a universal fit for both this and industry standard thicker panel. This also means this thinner panel must be used with this mounting bracket as the industry standard mounting bracket will not retain this properly. With this caveat the panel is a capable design.
