This dispenser replaced an older style that we still use. The ease of loading a roll of tape is a bit easier than the older style. Still takes a bit of skill, however, to tape a box just like the older style. Best thing is it is about 50% less expensive than the older style that can be found in the home improvement stores. Seems sturdy.

I’ve fought with traditional tape dispensers and rolls that came off the hub for years. Frustrating.Then I saw this one on Amazon, and I was intrigued. No hub, held in place.Then I received it, and I was a little concerned; looked a little lightweight.Then I used it, and I was once again impressed. Feels good in the hand, sturdier than at first appears, and the roll stays where it is supposed to.I like it!

Extremely happy I bought this before a big move. Never had any issues with tape getting caught in the roller in the near 50 boxes that were taped up.Definitely recommend.

The tape dispenser binds at the guide post just under the rollor when taping plastics and boxes at times. Enough to break the packaging rhythm and cause stressing. I would recommend the TGN-01 product more for light boxing, non-pro-long everyday packaging where time constraints plays a lesser role. And purchase a Scott H 153, 72mm, which fits more the present needs.I'm returning the LDS Industry's TGN-01 2", but let me inpart some words of improvement. An improvement specifically to the guide post problem; here if you make an upgrade to the guide so that it locks the tape to the rollor. I'm of the opinion that might stop the binding problem... Complamenting a lock-back roll latch in play; that is another area of great benefit to tape replenishment... to bad the guide takes-away from this experience.

OK, just... DON'T DO IT!I read the marketing, the reviews and was like, "Sounds good!" Just like you did, until you got to this review.This is, IMHO, copied from someone else's product, but they clearly didn't know WHY certain aspects were incorporated into the original.NOTHING supports the tape roll, so as soon as you put "toxic masculinity" force on it... the tape core gives in and that's it for this sucker ever rolling again. Furthermore, the teeth on the blade are too far apart. They probably can handle regular tape fine, but strapping tape? What a joke.In summation:-Tape doesn't roll properly-Heavy Duty tape doesn't cut with cutter teeth-There is no blade protector-Simplified from someone else's design and cut corners in all the wrong placesIt was $14, so I'm just going to throw it away, but to a lot of people, that's a lot of time and frustration to order, get it, hate it, return it... It isn't worth it. Trust this review, simply on the spelling and grammar. I know what I'm talking about.

This dispenser is sooo much better than the tradition ones made by 3M and others. The biggest difference is the way the tape rolls out--much smoother with much less effort. It is also much easier to cut/rip the tape when you want to cut it--this one takes much less force than traditional dispensers and cuts the tape easily.Another plus is the way it adapts to any size rolls. I bought a dozen rolls of name-brand tape with a core that was just a bit too small. To use these rolls on a traditional dispenser, I had to pull a couple sheets of paper from the center of the roll to make it fit. No need with this dispenser.One missing feature is the inability to adjust the drag/resistance of the tape roll that traditional dispenser have... but considering how it's much easier to roll the tape out, this missing feature quickly becomes forgotten as it's not needed.When I first used this, I thought it was much better but not worth spending the money to replace my working traditional dispensers--now, I'm not sure... maybe it's so good that I will send the money to replace my other traditional dispensers.

Like most people, I had for years been using the typical gun with a center spindle and blade that was only exposed to cut when the plastic "snout" is depressed. I incorrectly assumed that was as good as it got.Laying in moving supplies, I gave this LDS tape gun from Y-nut a shot. We now own four because I didn't want to have to figure out who used it last and where it was between three floors. Between my wife, two daughters and myself we've gone through 24 rolls of Duck HP260 (super tough and thick) in the four guns with zero complaints.The old gun went into the donation pile.This one loads and unloads easily and cuts with just a quick twist of the wrist. I highly recommend this unit for either keeping around for just-in-case, or boxing a household worth of stuff (PURGE YOUR STUFF FIRST!!!) for a move.Oh, it cuts so easily because there is no blade guard to retract. The toothed cutter remains exposed at all times so I recommend that you don't hand it to your youngster as a toy...

After researching different tape guns on Amazon, I was disappointed to see so many bad reviews and wasn't expecting much from this one. I was pleasantly surprised. This gun works great. However at first I couldn't get it to work. The trick is to put the tape below the black roller wheel. The only directions are 4 pictures on the box, too small to see how to load the gun. That's why it gets 4 stars instead of 5, they need to include proper instructions.

透明梱包テープでの作業用に購入しました。幅広の段ボール箱の梱包が多く、一般的なテープカッターでの作業時に何となく不便を感じていたので、お試しで本製品を購入独特なテープ固定方式とハンドグリップの相乗効果か、とても貼り易くなったと現場の評価も良いようです。テープ残量も直ぐに見て取れるのもグッドですね！
