You can’t say it’s kolinsky brush if it’s synthetic lmao that’s like calling pizza ice cream 😂. Kolinsky brushes are not synthetic, it comes from the fur of Russian red sables. Save your money.

I'm a cartoonist. I use these for inking. While I don't hate animals, I also do not personally particularly have an issue with real kolinsky sable brushes, but respect those who do. So, between that, and the fact that geo-political factors might cause sourcing problems, I'm aware that the possibility of no longer having access to real sable brushes. And so, I'm always on the hunt for a synthetic alternative. I've tried them all. Expensive. Cheap. You name it, none of them come close to the real thing, no matter what claims the manufacturers make. I pretty much resolved that it could not be done. Then I saw someone using one of these on IG. OF COURSE, i had to try one for myself. I was BLOWN AWAY. These perform amazingly well, hold ink like a natural brush, it's just amazing. Really, really close to the real thing. I've been using it as my main brush for a bit now, and I'm as happy with it as a Raph 8404 or WN S7.So, definitely recommend for anyone who ethically does not want to use real animal hair. And then also for people like me who want to make sure we have good tools, if the kolinskis go away.

I got 4 different size brushes from the seller. 2 came in a tube packaging and had the brush protector on the tips. Other 2 came in an envelope with with no brush tip protectors. All 4 however, were so frayed that even strands were withered out to the sides. Completely unusable. The synthetic hair quality is so cheap, it makes my $2 brushes I've previously own look like a god send. I would never recommend purchasing brushes from this seller.
