Brushes work great for non fine line mini painting. The points hold up well and they hold plenty of paint and I've had no shedding or misshapen brushes . They won't replace my Kolinsky Sable brushes for fine line work and detail, but they are fabulous for everything else. For less than what I pay for one Kolinsky brush I got a pack of high-quality synthetic brushes that I can use for just about everything else. Even the larger brushes I've found myself using for work on bases. Will definitely be saving these to one of my lists for easy ordering again. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent quality. Such a beautiful set of brushes at such a low cost. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered these considering the price was low but figured if they didn't work for watercolor I would use them for other craft purposes. Boy was I surprised. These are now some of my favorite brushes, even compared to my princeton brushes. Very happy with them!

I picked these up after seeing YouTube miniature painter Vince Venturella using them. These synthetic brushes have really impressed me so far. They have surprisingly sharp points that have held their shapes after a few weeks of use. As someone that paints small-scale miniatures, I’ll likely never use the larger brushes in the set. Even with extra brushes, this set is more affordable than smaller synthetic brush sets I’ve gotten and have been higher quality than most other cheap sets. Of course, these don’t replace quality natural hair brushes for doing detail work. For freehand, edge highlighting, layering and the like, I’m always going to be using high quality natural brushes (Raphael 8404 are my preferred line). These brushes are never going to give you the kind of results for fine work that high quality brushes will. But, for washes, speed paints, metallics, base coating, and large area work that is harsh on brushes, these have been more than adequate. I have dedicated brushes for dry brushing and stippling, so I can’t speak to how well these would hold up to that kind of brush-damaging work. For everything else, they have exceeded my expectations for highly affordable, synthetic brushes in a very large set.

The FENORKEY Artist Watercolor Paint Brushes are a great set for both beginners and experienced artists. The brushes come in 12 different sizes, giving you a lot of flexibility in your work. The round, pointed tips allow for precision, and the brushes hold paint well, ensuring smooth, even strokes. I’ve used them with watercolors, acrylics, and gouache, and they perform beautifully with all mediums. The bristles are soft yet durable, and they don’t shed. Whether you’re painting fine details or larger areas, this set has you covered.

I didn't have high expectations when I purchased these as a backup set. However, I have been very impressed by their quality and durabilty--especially for this price! They hold a good amount of paint and have retained a nice point after 6 months of daily use. I forgot two brushes sitting in water on their point overnight and they were still as good as new. I occasionally even choose one of these over some of my far more expensive professional watercolor brushes. Would be great for beginners and experienced artists would also appreciate them. Highly recommend.
