I like about this hood is having a strong and quiet motor. Unlike other base model 30 inch hood, this one has a super quiet motor which suctions steam very well. It has 2 led lights they are super bright and makes cooking easy. In my case, installation took about an hour because I just replaced it with the old one. It works very well.

This fits most 30 inch hoods quite well it has a pretty stout fan that can work in a ducted or ductless install.

Very nice range vent set. Everything included. Seemed to be way for the hubby to hang. Looks great. Vents very well, while not being too loud. Cleans easily. Doesn't show spots or fingerprints. Bright lighting. Great quality! Should last for year to come!

The range hood that I have had my eye on is three times the price of this so I thought I would give this a try. I ordered this because it was 30" wide, could be ducted or converted to ductless, and it has a high air flow. Out of the box it is shiny and the vents are covered with a layer on plastic to protect the finish. The instructions for installation are easy to understand and follow. Per the instructions, I plugged in the hood to make sure all of the features worked and I installed the charcoal filter.To install this I had to remove the light panel (5 screws secure it to the hood and three wires need to be disconnected) to access the frontmost screw hole on the left and right side of the panel. The instructions are a bit general and the video is too, neither apply to this exact model. Once screwed in place I was able to reattach the light panel and plug in the range hood. The range hood works well.Why 4 stars rather than 5? The motion sensor feature rarely works so I stopped trying. I could have taken off more stars for that but it wasn't a feature that let me to ordering this range hood. If motion detection is important you might want to consider something that works consistently.

I’ve been using this range hood insert for a few weeks now and it’s been a nice fit for my kitchen. The stainless steel finish gives it a polished look that blends in well with the rest of the setup. It’s got some solid power to pull out smoke and cooking smells, which is great since I cook a lot of stuff that can get pretty fragrant. The gesture control is a cool perk, makes it easy to turn on or adjust when my hands are tied up with food prep. I went with the ducted setup and it wasn’t too hard to get in place, just took a little time to sort out. It’s quieter than I expected too, doesn’t drown out everything else going on. Overall, it’s been a reliable addition and I’d say it’s a good grab if you’re looking to spruce up your ventilation game.

I just finished installing this range hood in our home. It was easy to install once I had the vent piping routed and completely figured out. A word of advice -- Make sure you have your space planned and know how the venting is going to run early on or you'll fight the installation. You need to understand how this connects and where. Once you do, the rest is easy. And building the housing for it to compliment the kitchen cabinets was a fun project! :)The hood is high quality. The fan works super well. I replaced a down-draft hood that we'd purchased/installed a few years ago... Once of those units that automatically raises out of the countertop at the touch of a button. It seemed like a good idea at the time. They're great if you don't mind super loud, annoying fans and abysmal performance. This new hood is many, many times better than the one we replaced! So nice to have a quality range hood in our kitchen!The hood is made of thick stainless steel. It isn't thin and doesn't "oil-can" as I've seen some do. The fan and blower are high quality. Lighting is great. Everything is buttoned up tight and well thought out. I'm just really impressed with how great it looks/feels and how well it performs. Nothing but accolades, actually.I wholeheartedly recommend this hood. You'll love it. Great seller, outstanding appliance, and quick shipping!

I am so happy I found this stainless steel ductless hood fan.My stove had an old and giant microwave with vent fan mounted over it that went bad recently. I never really used it very much because that is not a big that is not a good place to put a microwave hard to get dishes in and out that high over the stove . It is so big and heavy it has been hard to replace.This was exactly the same size as the old microwave measuring by width and height. And was much easier to put in than the microwave was to take out.It works well, much quieter than the old system embedded in the overhead microwave. And I love the touchless controls.Looks very sleek and modern. Also very easy to keep clean and change out the filter. So glad I got this

Installed under the cabinet, it saves space. The overall design is simple and elegant. The stainless steel material looks very high-end and is easy to clean. The two-speed exhaust fan has good wind performance, and it can easily absorb the fumes from daily cooking. The LED light is also very bright, which adds convenience to cooking. However, this range hood is a little loud when running at high speed, which will be noticeable in a quiet environment.
