If you have some small projects that need a sander, this is a good option! It's inexpensive and easy to use, and it comes with a handful of sanding pads to get you started. It is a ROTARY sander, not an orbital, so if you're looking to do a fine finish on your project, this may not be for you. I like that this sander has a dust bag to help keep the mess down, but always wear a mask and eye protection when sanding, folks! It is also very loud, so be sure to wear some hearing protection too. All in all, it's a decent little sander for small projects that need a quick sanding!

This is a great rotary sander. The unit feels sturdy, and the palm rest makes it easy to hold when in use. The speed is adjustable via the dial on the handle. It's easy to use, and swapping pads is simple. The motor is strong and makes quick work on finishing prohects. The dust collection bag works well, and it's also easy to connect an external dust collection system. Overall a good value.

[Added Update] Seller reached out and offered to make it right by me. Always appreciated.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I'm willing to believe I got a bad unit, because my experience with this sander is decidedly NOT what others had. I had high hopes when it arrived. It feels well made, beefy, and durable. Now the reality. Before I start, for this review, I was using the supplied 120g disc on walnut that had been run through a thickness planer, so no crazy grain.First off, as some have stated, this is *not* a ROS--it's a *rotary* sander, so if you're looking to avoid swirls, this is not the droid for you. Next up, this thing is LOUD. I checked, and at 3' away, it clocks in at 113dB. That's about as loud as a 747 at takeoff. My table saw is only ~100. Also, mine whines like a banshee with her skirt on fire, so to say this thing is unpleasant to use for a long period of time is an understatement, and I say that having worn ear protection AND had a podcast playing. Further, while you might think "Variable speed? COOL!" in all honesty, the lower speeds are so slow, they're useless. At speeds 1-4, you'd be better off just unplugging the thing and using it as an ergonomic sanding block. A point in its favor: dust collection seems to work pretty well. There's the end of the praise. Anyway, now for the most important thing. The motor might be big and heavy, but as a rotary sander, this thing is WOEFULLY underpowered. At least the rotary slip differential is. ANY amount of downward pressure other than holding the thing so it doesn't run off will slow the rotation down by about half, and it's super easy to stall this thing out to where it's barely rotating at all.Truth is, I got what I paid for. Is it 100% garbage? No. But it has *one* job, and it performs at that task like a kid who perpetually gets picked last for kickball. I'm not going to the trouble of returning it. I'll give it to someone with NO sander, because it's literally *just* better than no sander at all...

I have a number of pneumatic random orbital sanders and have literally a 1000 hours using them over the years. I ordered this electric one specifically for the times I want a sander but am not near air nor wish to haul a portable compressor to the job.I have to say, this is one potent little sander. Actually, it's not little either. This is a stout and hefty sander and the manufacturer obviously packed a whopper of an electric motor inside. This is a powerful sander. The vacuum works really well and the supplied sanding discs are of excellent quality. This sander is............ Highly Recommended.

I took this orbital sander out of the box, slapped on one of the supplied sanding disks, slipped the dust collection bag on, and cleaned and sharped my pruners and limb loppers to get the yards trimmed and ready for Winter. This sander worked great and my tools were ready to get to work in no time.Having this is going to save me a lot of time on my next wood working project, and many other small jobs around the shop. Swapping to different grits of sandpaper is quick and easy. The grip and feel of this sander in your hand is good, but it could be a little more ergonomically designed to fit in your hand a little more naturally, that being said, it would not stop me from choosing this sander at all.
