I bought this for my 7yo, there is a lot of detail and tools to help scratch appropriately. As a perfectionist, he would get frustrated. I bought an extra set of tools so we could do it together

Just received this tonight. I’ve been working on it for about an hour or so. I’m only stopping now because my hand is getting a bit tired. I put on some relaxing music. It allowed me to be in a totally mindful state. It’s easy to do and doesn’t require you to be perfect. I find things like coloring books to be frustrating because you have to be very uniform with the type of pressure you use and you have to make sure you stay within the lines. The picture that is being uncovered is so pretty. This is just what the “doctor ordered” and I will look forward to “working” on it every day.

I bought this scratch art set for my son, who is 11 years old. He loves it! He has been spending hours intricately carving out the pictures. It's so nice to see him away from his electronics. I enjoyed doing these pictures. Very fine etching and wouldn’t recommend for kids! They’re beautiful when finished!
