Bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter. It’s a good size but also can be easily adjusted if needed. The rope is soft ( unlike those beaded ones!) doesn’t tangle much and is very lightweight. It’s good for younger kids who are just learning. For older kids I would get a bit heavier rope.

A little bit too long for toddlers but easy to cut at the ends for adjustment and tie a knot. Otherwise, they’re pretty great!
