My daughter always wanted one of them to put on her desk while she studied chemistry in college.

Overall it's a neat gift but I felt the lettering and elements were too small. You would get drawn in by the look, and disappointed when you pick it up. I plan on returning it.

The picture I took makes it look pretty nice, but in real life the text can be hard to read. Get the light just right like I got it in my picture and it looks good. The light base that comes with it doesn't help it look better either. The light seems to have two colors. One color is in the picture and the other is very red. A white light would be nice. For all the stuff on there it all has to be pretty small. With all that said it is pretty cool. Not sure some of the things are what they say they are. Like how much Uranium is in the Uranium on this thing? Some of the other things on this table can also be pretty dangerous. Would be nice if they clarified exactly how pure some of this is. I hope it's safe to have around. This also comes with two magnifying glasses, in a nice box, and with the wooden stand which needs a usb c connection to be powered on. It coming with magnifying glasses should also give a clue to how small some of this is to see. If this had a white light on the base and was a little bigger I'd give it 5 stars.

Many of the elements are misspelled and missing letters.

This little display piece is made of pretty hefty and thick acrylic encasing tiny samples of each of the elements. The samples are tiny of course, and do not include any of the super-rare or radioactive elements. I obviously can't confirm if these are real or not but they look neat. The samples are small but it comes with two magnifying glasses to look at them with. It would have been nice if it had come with some sort of reference card or booklet describing the elements, but it’s not like that’s difficult information to come by. The base is nice and sturdy and best of all it has LEDs in it that light up the whole piece and can change colors. Also as a bonus it comes in a nice black gift box.

I got this for my son and now I want one of my own. It is exactly as advertised and not just a sticker on glass, it does have physical matter inside. One of the coolest gifts I've ever found. Highly recommend!
