My radiator cap disintegrated - as in, turned to dust inside the reservoir. I have never seen this happen before.As such I wanted to avoid the OEM part as it clearly is low quality. This cap fits and the car does not throw an error. When I took the car in for a warrantee water pump replacement they replaced the reservoir but kept this cap so clearly they dealership doesn’t think much of Audi’s OEM cap.

Purchased for 2017 Audi Q7, which was mysteriously losing small amounts of coolant. Cooling system pressure test did not reveal leaks. The o-rings on the OEM cap seemed to have hardened over time and likely not sealing. The o-rings on the new cap were snug and seems to have solved the coolant evaporation or leak. OEM cap is the black one and the one from Amazon is blue in the photos. Aside from the colors, both caps appear to be identical. The Amazon part also has "Italy" stamped into the plastic. Good value compared to the costly OEM replacement.
