It converts pro level +4dB balanced signals via XLR inputs into consumer level -10dB unbalanced signals via RCA, 1/8-inch, or 1/4-inch outputs. We use this between the mixer and a Blackmagic Design ATEM to bring the signal down to consumer level. Works great.

I ordered one and it worked for a week then died.The second I have now It seems to be coloring whatever music I put through it in a bad way

I really love the product a lot, one of my favorites, I am able to record live on my iphone, and ipad. The only problem was me not being able to record on my computer, but I think it is because of the adapter, but I enjoyed the product because you can also monitor the sound going through with headphones, and it's a nice little output.

Holy smokes, this thing works wonders!I've been trying to track down some noise I was getting on our computer (in our 200 yr old church). I had been able to reduce the noise some but it was still loud enough to be pretty annoying. I finally gave up and picked up this little unit. Boy did it work out better than I had hoped.From our mixer to this unit I used two (which are of impressive quality) and then out from this unit to our computer I used (which is also a very high quality cable).

As with all of Radial's gear, it works absolutely perfect... I many of their devices for our sound equipment at church and this is another life saver.
