Stellar Solution for Summing Two Channels to Mono Need a simple, reliable way to sum two audio channels to a single mono channel? Sweetwater can highly recommend the Radial Mix 2:1, a passive 2-channel mixer that’s built to last. Just connect two audio channels (XLR or 1/4"), and the Mix 2:1 sums them to a single mono channel with XLR output. And if you encounter a phase-cancellation issue, simply press the 180 button to reverse the polarity of input 2. Use the front-panel input controls to balance your mix, or engage the level control bypass to sum both inputs equally. Whatever your application is, you can count on high-quality audio performance from the Radial Mix 2:1.Radial Mix 2:1 Passive Mixer Features: Passive 2-channel mixer with XLR and 1/4" inputs Sums 2 channels to a single mono XLR output Use input controls to balance your mix or bypass level controls for

Every keyboard player should have one of these in his/her gig bag. Most keyboards sound better in stereo. As stereo isn’t always an option, this sums much better and sounds better than your keyboards mono option

Very high quality unit, solid steel frame, worked perfectly for what it was designed for.

I was using a single powered speaker with my PA.. Using the left main out with all channels panned left.. This worked but my sound just wasn’t as clean or full as I expected.. The radial mix 2:1 box allowed me to utilize both mixer outputs and I could put my pans back to center.. Clarity of sound was better, very happy with the results.. Highly recommend..

Simple and effective way to blend 2 signals into 1 output. With independent input levels (unity gain down to off) and the 180 degree phase switch, it's easy to blend top/bottom drum mics. I have many Radial Engineering products - a consistent and reliable brand.I removed the rubber feet on mine and wedged them into an empty rack space - it's a squeeze but doable. Nice to have them as studio patch points.

I bought it sum a stereo line-out from my Apollo down to mono so I could feed a single Avantone mixcube with a single button back and forth from my main monitors, rather than having to hit a button to switch to my alt monitor, and then another button for mono.Have had zero issue's with it since I got it and although mine really never moves, the chassis is pretty heavy duty and so it should be durable. I would 100% buy this again if I needed another compact stereo-to-mono summing solution.

This has everything you need to sum 2 signals with selectable gain compensation options, ground lift and phase control. This has worked great in my wet dry wet guitar setup where I am taking the stereo line outputs of my guitar amplifier attenuator (a UAD Ox) and splitting this into a left right and centre channel. This device sums my signal to create the dry channel of my wet dry wet setup.A big part for me is the auto summing gain compensation which makes it easy to get a line level compatible signal when summing 2 separate line level signals. Without this you would need to manually adjust the output to balance it to other line level signals in your chain. Plus if you want more control you can also set the individual input levels.Couldn't be happier.

I found that the 2 input signals can feed back to each other. The setup: Mix 2:1 input 1 is connected to an XLR cable to a microphone output. Input 2 is connected to a ProMS2 output. When I speak to the microphone, I hear the signal from another ProMS2 output. You may not care about this issue if your inputs' other ends aren't connected to anything that receives a signal. But for me, it's money wasted since it's past the 30-day return period. I also reported it to the Radial support person and they confirmed that "the Mix 2:1 will inherently have some signal feeding back through the other input on the device due to the fact that the unit itself is passive and doesn’t have any active circuitry equipped to prevent parallel signals from feeding back through. So to simplify, this is inherent to the Mix 2:1’s operation."

Problem: Needed to support input 2 mics (two vocal performers) to input into a Voco-Loco effects chain (DigiTech Whammy DT and Eventide H9).Versatile inputs (XLR and 1/4 in), level and off/on controls for each mike channel. Extremely rugged construction. Quality electronics. Worth the extra cost compared to other combiners.

The Radial Mix 2:1 is a passive mixer (doesn't require power) with level controls for each channel. It has dual XLR and 1/4" inputs that mix down to a single mono XLR output. Each channel has a ground lift button to eliminate ground loops. Channel 2 has a 180 deg. phase switch to correct phase cancellation issues. It also has a recessed "level control bypass" switch.I purchased this unit to mix two wireless saxophone microphones down to one channel in my live rig. I use the level bypass switch, since I control levels elsewhere. I haven't needed to use the phase or ground lift features. This is a perfect solution for my setup. It's small, built like a tank, and does exactly what I need it to do. I appreciate having all the connections on one side for a neat setup. It passes a clean signal with no coloration to the sound.I use all Radial DI boxes both live and in the studio. There's a very good reason for that. Radial makes excellent products that sound great and are built to last. The Radial Mix 2:1 is no different and will likely be a part of my setup for many years to come.

Really great item. Blend two mics on a cab seamlessly. One of the “On” buttons was slightly damaged upon shipment though. Seems like a factory issue upon building it. Doesn’t affect functionality though so I’ll let it slide...
