Mount works good, doesn't look as good as the more expensive options but zero complaints for the price.

Bought 2 of these for different cars and both work perfectly and are very well made. The kit comes with 2 sets of different length mounting screws so it should fit pretty much any mirror stalk. The wiring works perfectly but it does take a bit to figure out which wire goes where. Every car is different and this is a universal kit so I didn't expect an exact wiring diagram. A bit of searching online and a cheap voltmeter got it installed and working in about 10 minutes. Recommended.

Great product and a definite value compared to many other options available. The mount is made of very high quality materials. I had a question regarding installation, and the seller responded to my message within just a few hours. A+ product and customer service.

Do it. Cleanest and easiest way to mount your detector. Have this on both vehicles. No issues after almost 10 years.

I did not like the power cable dangling down to the cigarrete lighter, and decided to go with this option. Very good for the price, you get the mount as well as the power cable to tap into the powered rearview mirror. Plenty of videos of installations in youtube.

I've had V1s for a long time and have shied away from hotwiring them to the car if only for lack of power to the mirrors in the cars I've owned and the extra wiring it entails. I recently purchased a newer Tacoma with a compass (i.e., powered) mirror and decided to look to get rid of the DC power cord. It didn't take long to narrow it to a few, and only a bit longer to narrow it to a complete set that was half the price of the other. The Radar Mount is a flexible mount that can adapt to most any mirror. The probe for the V1 power was a bit longer than I needed but not too long to just wrap around the mirror mount and plug into the V1. With the limited room behind the mirror (I thought about removing the mirror first, but didn't) I found it easier to add the probes to the mirror power connector first. The probe should go in easily and shouldn't need to be forced. If it doesn't insert easily at first, try a different part of the connector opening. The other hard part was attaching the mount to the mirror stem. Again, because of the limited room behind the mirror, I took the mount apart so I only had to work with the part that mounts to the mirror. The thumb screws and ball joints make this easy to do. Once it was attached to the mirror stem adding and adjusting the rest was easy with the same thumb screw ball joints,I'll update if the joints loosen or probes come loose, but its certainly an easy setup, less expensive than others and is an easy fifteen minute upgrade to add to any supported vehicle

I originally purchased this for my BMW 650i. The bracket however didn't fit properly on my BMW mirror. I ended up using it in my Ford Excursion. The seller did indicate that it fits most vehicles so the BMW is one that is a bit tricky. Not just the car I have, but BMW in general. If you have a BMW you are better of spending the money and getting a mount just for your vehicle at BlendMount. They are pricey but fit like a glove. When it comes to installation of this item in my Ford Excursion, it worked like a charm. I had some cable problems at first, because one of the contacts broke off. But The Package Group support department promptly sent me a new one! Fantastic customer service. I so appreciate it. It took minutes to install the mirror mount and the cable worked great on the back of the mirror as well. All in all a great, cost effective solution. As long as you don't have a too exotic car mirror. Check your mirror to make sure you have enough space between mirror and mirror mount to mount the bracket.

Great item! Save yourself some time and effort by installing it the way I did. The instructions basically say to pierce through the wiring attached to your rear view mirror with the supplied harness...instead of trying this and breaking off the tips of the harness, simply use wire strippers to take off just a small amount of the rubberized wire coating on your mirror harness, bend the ends of your new harness into a u-shape with a pair of pliers and wrap it around the spot where you stripped the rubberized coating...then for added security, I soldered the u-shape I made into the factory wiring and wrapped it up with a piece of black electrical tape. I installed this on a 2000 Ford Excursion Limited so if you happen to drive the same vehicle, here is another tip to save you some time and it may be the same on other vehicles...you are supposed to use an electrical tester to find which wires to splice...to save you that step, the black wire in your vehicle is the ground so the black wire on your new radar detector harness attaches to that one. The black wire with a blue stripe in your vehicle is the 12v positive so the red wire on your new harness attaches to that. Just a tip to save you some time and to skip having to use an electrical tester. Hopefully this will help at least a few people. I know my description seems like it may take a while but don't get stressed...the whole process took me about 20 minutes and I was up and running. Just please be careful when stripping your factory wiring, I wouldn't want anyone to accidentally cut through the wires and then have to make that repair as well. This item seems a little on the expensive side but it is honestly well worth it. It looks great when installed and if your detector has been on your visor, you can now pull the visor down to keep the sun out of your eyes. It is also adjustable so you can have it at the position which works best for you. It is a great accessory that looks like a factory installation when you are finished and it really wasn't too difficult to work with. I am very pleased with mine and I believe anyone who has a Valentine One radar detector will love theirs as well. I hope this helps anyone who reads it!
