Only had it a couple days but it's already gave me plenty heads up on a few cops. One was parrell to me roughly a block away. Met an unmarked who was shooting radar and I had a good mile notice in the city. Will update when I'm running pretty fast down the 4 lane. If your like me and don't have tons of extra cash laying around this is for you. Cheaper than a speeding ticket.

Works just fine. As described. Technically it is long enough but a little short and can be tight with coil, as mentioned by others.

Using this on Escort 9500IX. Actual replacement cord from Escort is over $100. Not worth it. Keep in mind this is a basic power cable. It doesn’t have the silence button or anything else that the original does. I rarely used that button so rather save $90 with this.

The original cord that came with my radar detector failed. This one works perfectly so far and seems to be a little bit longer so it is not stretched quite as far.

In every way this is a nicer, higher-quality, and sturdier plug than the OEM Valentine One plug. The only reason not to use this is if... you need the bluetooth adapter for the V1 Gen 1. And unfortunately I do, so that requires the OEM plug with it's 2 RJ11 sockets.I'm still keeping this one around, though, because I'll upgrade to the Gen 2 model eventually, and it uses the same chintzy power plug as the Gen 1, and then I can come back to using this.
