I looked at a lot of kayak racks and really happy I went with this one. Easy to put together and can be indoors or outdoors. Can security to wall but I haven’t had to do that. It’s wide enough to accommodate my 17’ kayaks which fit securely in the outstretched arms. It is stable and has not tipped over on me. Paddles can also fit across the back of the arms. Great design and I even used it on the moving truck to safely transport my kayaks when I moved to a different state.

This cost more than I wanted to spend but I didn't want something cheap. Assembly was easy and seems strong. Time will tell but I am very happy with the quality at set up.

Good easy to follow directions and they even give you the wrenches that you will need. Seems to be very sturdy.

The three tier rack is sturdy and the arms have enough padding to protect my kayaks. I have two 10 foot kayaks that are about 32 inches wide and weigh about 40 pounds. I put a SUP on the top rack. The arms are a little bit shorter than the width of my kayaks but it seems to fit just fine. Very easy for one person to put together. The product could have been better secured in the box. Nothing was damaged enough that it wasn't usable or that I would seek a return. But there were a fair amount of scrapes and scratches. It's almost like they have no idea that delivery drivers just drop these out of the back of the truck.

Finally got to put together this stand for my kayaks. I thought the Instructions were clear and all parts were listed and described. I was able to put together by myself. Two wrenches came with it as well, no other tools were needed. My two kayaks are not the same and I was unsure that the larger would fit but they fit nicely. One of the ties that sinched around the cushion where the kayaks sit came broken, I just used a zip tie and fixed it. One of the plates also came bent and I tried to get just the part replaced but was told one part was unable to be sent out. They offered to give a refund and send it back but with how heavy it is didn't want the hassle. I received partial refund and made the bent plate work.I placed these right up against the house, we have a 4ft walkway and feel we have enough room to get the lawnmower pass.Just glad to finally be able to store these the correct way and my husband is happy to get them out of his garage!

We are able to store our two kayaks outside but off the ground which is ideal.

This was the easiest to put together. Instructions were excellent and each part had large letters. Took me 30 minutes to put together mostly by myself. Had my wife help me hold the center bracket to install 4 bolts. 2 wrenches included and most the nuts and bolts were already together so no looking at pictures to be sure you have the right ones. It was dark when I put the Kayaks on it but it really is amazing and I now have more walkway in my shop. Excellent product! Very good quality and I give it 5 🌟 Stars

I needed a strong, freestanding kayak rack as I moved my kayaks from my garage into a storage unit where I cannot attach my previous racks to the walls. This rack was easy to assemble. I have a large, heavy ocean-worthy fishing kayak and an ocean-worthy fiberglass touring kayak. The fishing kayak did not fit well on the bottom rack as there was not enough space for the width of the kayak as it hit the bottom of the top racks. So I removed the bottom racks and placed foam blocks made for car racks with larger rails, on the bottom stand frame, and it sits nicely on top of these foam blocks. The only thing I can say negative about this kayak rack, is that there is a design flaw; they should have accommodated more space between the bottom racks and the bottom of the top racks so you can fit a wider, heavier kayak on the bottom rack (about a 1 1/2" more space would be perfect). Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of this product, there were no missing parts, and everything fit together perfectly. Together my kayaks weigh approximately 130 lbs., and this rack will allow more weight (probably another 40 lbs. easily).

I wanted to get the two Kayaks I have out of the garage so I could get the car in.I have positioned the storage rack outside and have covered the Kayaks with plastic covers. The rack is of good quality and was easy to erect,The rack is powder coated, but only time will tell if it can withstand the harsh winter weather.

I needed a way to hang my kayak because frankly letting the thing sit on the garage floor takes up room!. I couldn't trust using hooks on the wall given kayaks do have some weight so I wanted a rack, but one that was not beast. I looked and thanks to looking I found this rack. It is great! This rack is about 50 inches tall (review the dimensions) so it is a good small footprint item.1. Assembly: This comes in a pretty small box. You receive the rack pieces, and the largest one piece components are the racks. You get the rack in pieces, plus the nuts, bolts, instructions and oh yeah - two wrenches. No other tools were necessary. As to putting this together, I recommend not pulling out all the things from the plastic because it will get confusing 9there are three types of bolts). The instructions are actually pretty clear, but unfortunately in small print. However, It is not that difficult to put this together. You basically build one leg and then the other. Then place the cross bar. The wrenches work. However, if you can find a 13mm ratchet set or wrench, you will have a far easier time putting this together. Again, not necessary, but you will be using a bit more elbow grease without a rachet. The pieces I found fit together perfectly fine. I did not have a single issue with anything not fitting. I will admit to twice having to backtrack because I placed a piece together backwards (Again, the instructions are straight-forward, but in such tiny print it is easy to make a mistake. Honestly though, it is easy to fix a mistake and after a bit of assembly it becomes pretty obvious how this goes together - there are only four sequences of assembly on this thing anyway). I would suggest not doing a final tightness (beyond hand tight) without making sure everything is put together correctly, and then tighten just a bit beyond where it becomes tough to pull.Use?: Once I got this together, then I used the screw in feet to level this item and this works well. There are some metal pieces that look like they don't fit on the rack. These are actually little feet you can use on the bottom to screw the rack into the ground (say if this is on soil (wouldn't recommend that) or cement or similar. I did not use these and on a level cement floor I don't believe these are necessary. (I would recommend giving a slight tip towards the back of the rack using the front leg's feet).Does this remain stable? Yes. Very stable. Sturdy? Yes, this is a well-engineered rack. I am using a tandem kayak and this fits it very well. I lay it with the bottom towards the outside and this allows the kayak to be placed flat against the wall. Wow. What a space saving and visually appealing as well. Goodbye kayak and your helter skelter!Overall? Excellent. Great price point, Well- engineered. Nice design for self assembly. Looks terrific. Great storage solution.
