Puts your arms to far away from your body when performing curling exercises with barbell or dumbbells. It does help keep your back straight and weight off your heels but it caused too much pain in my forearm tendons.

I bought another more expensive one from Amazon, but this RAD one beats the other product in every way. It is comfortable to use and the build quality is great. I also like the different color and patterns that it offers. I am very happy with this product.

Works great for me (6’3 260). Terrible for my wife (and she’s the one who really really loves it). She’s 5’2 and 105. Smaller sizes would be awesome. Really really helps people who don’t lift a lot get a great biceps workout. Amazing tool.

I hoped that this would come in durable and effective and I’m happy to tell you, good reader, that I am quite pleased by these. They ARE good quality, durably built, attractive and best of all: Effective. If you’re not doing drop set, cambered bar or dumb bell curls on one of these, you’re risking unnecessary pain in your proximal forearm tendons (to chronic tenosynovitis) without a good reason. You can use a preacher bench for a lot of things if you tuck in your elbows, but this allows a LOT better work if you prefer to stand. I never found an armblaster to be of great value with straight bar curls but then, I never really liked straight bar curls anyway compared to triple drops with dumbbells. -Doc

I have been using resistance band training recently, and I wanted to use something to isolate the biceps curl to another level.This is a curved plate that places your upper arms in a fixed position, limiting the user’s ability to use momentum to swing the barbell or bar up.From my first workout, I could feel the isolation to the biceps and brachialis muscles, rather than the deltoids and forearms.In the mirror I could definitely see a difference as I brought the weight/resistance up.It is very similar in isolation to a preacher curl exercise that you would use in a gym.The straps are thin. Neck Padding is adequate. Padding on the front is also adequate.I do like the plastic cinch buckle. It’s easier to secure than straps through a loop in ones I have owned in the past.I’ll update the review regarding durability as I continue to use it.Overall it’s a nice design. I can feel the muscles it was intended to work.

I was worried about this Arm Blaster because I looked at many different ones on Amazon and read their reviews. But once I received this arm blaster I had to use it to see if it really was worth all the hype. It definitely is! After using this arm blaster for the first time and every single time after that, my arms are bulging because of the insane isolation that comes from this Arm Blaster.This is the one to buy! This arm blaster is super sturdy and doesn't bend. The quick length adjustment is super convient and works like a charm. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

The RAD arm blaster does a nice job of keeping your arms from swinging during bicep curls, and tricep press-downs. Any exercise that you want to prevent swinging or momentum from your arms, this product works well for. It's does a great job of creating a " standing concentration curl" as your arms are locked into place. Really gets a solid pump going!The RAD arm blaster is made from steel, so it's feels solid when working out and very sturdy. I found the strap and neck pad to be very comfortable as well. No issues what so ever. I bought the arm blaster for barbell and dumbell curls and so far the RAD arm blaster is delivering on all fronts. Highly recommended.
